@WorstGenHQ Prime Kaido is on the same level as Prime Roger, Prime Whitebeard, and Prime Big Mom. To me, all of these characters are on the exact same level. I mean, I just can't imagine Roger defeating Big Mom easily; at the very least, it would be an extreme-diff fight .
There has to be a connection between Mihawk and Imu; otherwise, how will Zoro and Mihawk even fight? I mean, what kind of event would actually bring Zoro and Mihawk to the exact same place to fight over something, besides just the title of Strongest Swordsman?
There needs to be something higher at stake for a fight between Zoro and Mihawk to be truly great, just like every other major battle in the series. Honestly, the rivalry they had back in the East Blue was completely erased after Zoro spent two years training under Mihawk. There is no bad blood between them anymore, so there has to be a bigger driving force. And don't tell me Buggy is going to become the Pirate King—that's total nonsense.
I seriously can't understand you. Was Shanks the Strongest Swordsman before Mihawk, and Mihawk needed to defeat Shanks to become the strongest? This is Zoro's story, not Mihawk's story. You are mixing things up.
As for the Black Blade, you're talking about it as if it doesn't represent power. Mihawk having a Black Blade is proof of his strength. It’s not just a random feature or trait that doesn't add much to his power; no, it boosts his strength significantly. That is exactly why he is the Strongest Swordsman—because he has the Black Blade that makes him stronger than all other swordsmen. What is so hard to understand about that?
And regarding Marineford, I really can't understand why someone who used to be a Marine Hunter would put any effort into fighting the Marines' enemies. Do you even know why the Warlord system was abolished? It's because they never fought seriously and were just using their positions to slack off and sit around. That’s exactly why it was abolished.
This is the problem with Shanks fans—you just don't understand Mihawk’s character. You treat him like he's just a killing machine. He wasn't fighting with his full power, and that’s completely obvious because he didn't use a single one of his named techniques. So what’s so strange about that? When someone isn't fighting at full strength, of course they aren't going to put in any real effort.
This is the exact same guy who started hunting the Marines the second the Warlord system was abolished. He holds a massive grudge against the Marines, so why on earth would he fight with all his strength to defend them? Honestly, his mere presence in that war and his decision to actually take part in the fighting was a shock even to Doflamingo.
Why did Zoro's technique become stronger? What did Kaido say to him? He told him that he used Conqueror's Haki, and that's exactly why he was able to scar Kaido—because he used Conqueror's Haki. And this happened even before he awakened Enma. The sword only helped him awaken his Conqueror's Haki, but the Haki itself has been inside Zoro since birth, just like everyone else who has it. You just proved that Conqueror's Haki makes sword strikes stronger. Therefore, you need to have the strongest Conqueror's Haki among swordsmen to become the Strongest Swordsman.
Mihawk never defeated Shanks, but did Shanks ever defeat Mihawk? Because I must have missed that chapter and never read it.
You are seriously trying to convince me that between two fighters who used to be equals, one lost his arm while the other became the strongest fighter in that entire category, and yet the guy who lost his arm is the one who became stronger? What kind of twisted logic is that? This is the kind of logic you only find among Shanks fans.
The Marines know exactly how strong Mihawk and Shanks are because one was the Marine Hunter and the other is a Yonko, and one of them later became a Warlord. They know their exact power levels because they’ve fought both against them and alongside them. For the Marines to officially decide that Mihawk is stronger than Shanks—that right there is the ultimate proof.
Are you actually serious? Shanks' Haki traveled from the shores of Wano all the way to the Flower Capital in seconds just to scare Greenbull, and you're telling me Shanks is faster than that? Impossible. The distance between Kid and Shanks was way closer than Greenbull. Shanks simply cannot defeat Kid just by blasting Conqueror's Haki into the air; you have to strike with it and coat it on something to deal real damage. And you haven't shown a single panel in the story that proves otherwise.
I never said you can't blast Conqueror's Haki to knock out some weak characters; I said you can't use it like that in a real fight. The strongest Conqueror's Haki in the story knocked out some weak Vice Admirals, but did it knock out Kizaru, who is just an Admiral? No. Kizaru just got a minor headache.
I'm talking about fights between top-tier characters, not random fodder. And Greenbull wasn't scared that Shanks' Haki would actually injure him; he was scared of Shanks himself and the Yonko crew backing him up. The Haki itself didn't cause him any real damage.
