I just received a phone call from my mechanic. The repair on my transit van will cost about $1500 more than the quote. It will be ready tomorrow, so time is of the essence.
For those unfamiliar with the situation, we lost five art shows after Hurricane Helene, which has made my off-season very challenging. As my season approaches, the transmission on my van needs to be rebuilt. I sold enough to cover the estimate, but now we need more sales to cover the difference.

Yep, this still makes me cry. Grampa's smile, his little jog, @JORGEPOSADA_20 with the camera, all the flashbulbs from the stands, the "Yogi, Yogi, Yogi" chant. All the love Gramp put into the world continues to come back to him in spades. That's pretty incredible! #Yankees🙏⚾️❤️

25 years later, this is still mind-blowing. Don Larsen threw out the first pitch to Grampa Yogi, who was wearing Joe Girardi's glove, to commemorate their 1956 World Series Perfect Game. Gramp handed the glove back to Girardi, and David Cone threw a Perfect Game. #Yankees 🤯

When Yogi Berra would run into Rachel Robinson, and this was true pretty much to the end of Yogi's life, they would always exchange two words.
“Safe” Rachel would say.
