Evening of storytelling and intercultural exchange, where local elders, guides, and conservation heroes share their personal journeys — from ancient cultural legends to real-life tales of protecting mountain gorillas and experiencing the cultural history.
We we stood alongside conservationists, and community leader to celebrate the 20th edition of the Gorilla Naming Ceremony , we recognize the power of community-based tourism, environmental stewardship, and cultural heritage in protecting our majestic mountain gorillas.

We are excited to announce that the #STTABootcampSeries is back, happening from September 1st to 7th, 2025, in Rwanda 🇷🇼. The boot camp, organized in collaboration with @RedRocksRwanda in Nkotsi Village, a proud @UNWTO Best Tourism Village awardee, will focus on: “Exploring Opportunities for Community Development through Tourism in Africa.”
Over the course of the week, participants will engage in hands-on learning, connect with peers and tourism communities, and explore how sustainability is driving impact in the region. The boot camp will conclude with participation in the 20th Kwita Izina Gorilla Naming Ceremony.
