Massie: My amendment is simple. It strikes $3.3 billion of foreign aid to the country of Israel from the state department funding bill. We've got $39.4 trillion of debt. We've got needs at home, which include our infrastructure, our roads and bridges. We've got a shortfall in that fund. And we've got homeless veterans, and we're sending more money to Israel in this bill than we spend on homeless veterans in this country. Just to put it in perspective, there are 3000 counties in this country, and if you divide that into 3 billion, that's $1 million from every county. This is not a significant amount of money that is going overseas. So I think we should stop it. We should put them on a diet.

BREAKING: HELL NO! The New York City Bar Association boldly OPPOSES Todd Blanche's nomination to be Attorney General, calling him "unfit" for the office.

This is a massive blow to MAGA...

“Mr. Blanche has taken actions that we believe make him unfit to lead an ethical and independent department of justice that is essential to our nation’s democracy," read a letter sent by the Bar Association to Senators Chuck Grassley and Dick Durbin, the ranking members of the Judiciary Committee.

"We urge the Committee to reject the nomination of Mr. Blanche," the letter continued. "Mr. Blanche’s record—particularly the actions he has undertaken as Deputy Attorney General and Acting Attorney General—conclusively demonstrates his lack of commitment to the integrity, professionalism and independence that the Senate should require and the American people should expect of the highest law enforcement official in the land."

They went on to slam Blanche for failing to meet the standard of "professional excellence and unquestionable ethical standards that assure his commitment to justice and loyalty to the United States Constitution" and stated that his "primary loyalty" is to Trump and not the Constitution or the "rule of law."

They specifically cited his role as Trump's personal attorney during his felony trial as a cause for concern, adding that he continues to prioritize his boss's "personal interests" above all else.

"As a result, his actions have been detrimental to the Department of Justice and the rule of law. Specifically, Mr. Blanche has compromised the integrity and independence of the Department he has been nominated to lead," the letter asserted.

The Bar Association then listed some specific concerns, stating that Blanche has:

I.  Abused the Department’s prosecutorial power through politically motivated prosecutions and investigations;

II.  Failed to respect the Constitutional rights of citizens and all other people present in the United States protesting widespread abuses by ICE and other customs officers;

III.  Placed loyalty to President Trump over commitment to the rule of law in the Epstein investigation and the “settlement” of Trump v. I.R.S.;

IV.  Undermined the independence and integrity of the Department of Justice by, among other things, terminating or reassigning lawyers and others who participated in January 6 investigations or otherwise acted in a manner perceived to be disloyal to Mr. Trump; and;

V.  Undermined public trust in the Department of Justice and the rule of law through conduct contrary to the Rules of Professional Conduct applicable to Mr. Blanche and the Department’s own Justice Manual.

"Under normal circumstances, each of these improper actions by Mr. Blanche as Deputy Attorney General and Acting Attorney General would be grounds for disqualifying him from serving as Attorney General," the letter added. "Together, they demonstrate that, whatever his prior experience or formal credentials, Mr. Blanche is unfit to lead the U.S. Department of Justice."

We couldn't agree more. Todd Blanche is an immoral hatchet man for an even more immoral President. He will do whatever Trump orders him to do, regardless of how criminal it is or how much damage it inflicts on our democracy.

The simple truth is that anyone who would willingly serve a demented, murderous pedophile like Donald Trump is unfit to hold office. Todd Blanche is no different. The Senate must reject his nomination.

BREAKING: "This is a job interview!" Superstar Senator Jon Ossoff FRIES Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence after he refuses to admit that Trump lost the 2020 election.

It's like watching an ant under a magnifying glass...

"Did the President of the United States pardon a convicted narco-trafficker?" Ossoff asked, setting the stage for a discussion of Trump's corruption.

"Yes," admitted nominee Jay Clayton after a moment's hesitation.

"Who won the 2020 election?" asked Ossoff, going for the knockout punch.

Time and again, when MAGA hacks are asked this incredibly simple question, they fall apart. They don't want to say that Trump won because he didn't and saying so would expose them as conspiracy theorist lunatics and spineless toadies. But they also can't admit that Trump lost or they'll enrage their cult leader and lose their access to power. So they hem and haw and obfuscate.

Clayton, the current U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, didn't disappoint and immediately showed his craven belly.

"Umm... You know, I'm not, I'm not gonna do this with you," he said.

"This is a job interview!" shot back Senator Ossoff. "We've established that you have an obligation to be honest and forthright with the committee. Yes, you do have an obligation to be honest and forthright with the committee?"

"Yes," conceded Clayton.

"Who won the 2020 election?" repeated the senator.

"Like I said, I'm not, I'm not going to get into that with you," said Clayton.

"But you do have an obligation to be honest and forthright with the committee?" clarified Ossoff.

"Is anything that I just said not honest or forthright?" asked Clayton.

"Yes, you're not being honest or forthright," Ossoff said bluntly. "Who won the 2020 election?"

"I think I've answered the question. We can keep doing this," Clayton said.

"Well, we're going to keep doing it because you're not being honest and forthright," pressed Ossoff.

"I'm not going to engage in the theater," whined Clayton.

"It's a simple question, Mr. Clayton. Who won the 2020 presidential election?" asked Ossoff.

"I've answered it."

"You're here asking for the support of senators to lead America's intelligence community," said Ossoff, driving home the central point. "We've established that you have an obligation to be honest and forthright with this committee and with the American public, but you refuse to answer a simple matter of fact about the 2020 election. Is that right?"

"No, that's not right," lied Clayton.

"Then answer the question! Who won the 2020 election?" said Ossoff.

"I have answered the question," insisted Clayton.

"Answer it. What is your answer?"

"I've given you my answer," said Clayton.

"What is your answer?" Ossoff asked one final time.

Clayton then shifted uncomfortably in his chair and just stared at Ossoff, painfully aware that he had run out of room to rhetorically squirm.

"You refuse to answer a basic question about who won a presidential election, but you asked to lead America's intelligence community," said Ossoff. "Isn't it humiliating to be unable to answer this question, to have to indulge the President's delusions? We know, you know, everybody in this room knows the truthful answer to that question. Why can you not give it?"

"I think I gave you the answer," Clayton weakly managed.

This is an absolute disgrace.

This man wants to serve as the most powerful intelligence official in our entire national security apparatus and yet he won't even tell the truth in defense of our democracy.

His brazenness is rooted in a confidence that Republicans will choose partisan interests over national ones. He knows that they'll vote to confirm him no matter what he does or doesn't say, because they don't want to upset Trump. He's planning on skating into this job and will then set about enacting the President's fascist, criminal agenda.

Anyone who votes for this hack should be voted out of office at the first opportunity!

BREAKING: PARDON IMPLOSION! Rapper Boosie Badazz files a massive lawsuit alleging that he paid for a pardon from Trump and never received it.

This is a stunning look under the corruption hood...

Boosie Badazz, real name Torence Hatch Jr., alleges that he paid $600,000 to the MAGA-connected DC lobbyist firm JM Burkman & Associates to obtain a pardon for a 2023 incident in which he was convicted for bringing a loaded weapon to a music video shoot.

Hatch has filed suit to recover half of the sum he paid for the backroom maneuvering because the pardon never materialized.

According to The Guardian, this suit could portend an entirely new "genre of litigation stemming from Trump’s habit during his second presidency of doling out pardons en masse to people whom he considers to be aligned with him and were convicted of federal crimes."

In other words, Trump has so debased presidential pardons by handing them out for money and favors that a shadowy secondary market has sprung up in which brokers, both fraudulent and genuine, offer to obtain pardons for clients in return for large sums of money. The Guardian refers to it as the "clemency economy" and it's a thriving, hidden market through which millions of dark dollars flow. A criminal President breeds a criminal country.

In this instance, lobby records prove that Hatch hired the firm in question to pursue his pardon. The lobbyists eventually falsely informed Hatch that Trump had signed the pardon and they were simply waiting for the announcement. It never came.

Hatch stated that the lobbyists, far-right convicted felons Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, were "real aggressive – they were talking like they had Trump on speed dial.”

When Hatch's attorney contacted the White House for clarification, administration officials insisted that they had never received the request in the first place.

Regardless of the truth of this specific case, this scandal is the natural result of allowing a convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, and alleged pedophile to wield the power of the presidential pardon. He was always going to use it to destroy the very idea of the law itself.

Once we have subpoena power again, Democrats need to investigate every single one of Trump's pardons and prosecute every single act of corruption.

BREAKING: Sen. Jon Ossoff SLAMS Trump as TERRIFIED of losing power and willing to torch democracy to save his own skin.

Senator Jon Ossoff just went SCORCHED EARTH on Donald Trump while speaking to reporters today outside the Capitol — and he didn't hold back on exactly why Trump is spiraling.

Facing questions about reports that Trump may push the Justice Department to investigate Georgia's elections and potentially challenge the state’s sitting senators' legitimacy, Ossoff laid out the stakes in blunt terms: Trump is terrified of losing power, and he's willing to torch democracy itself to hold onto it.

"He's pocketing billions of dollars for himself while he drives up prices for the American people," Ossoff told reporters. "He fears defeat in the midterms, and that explains his spiral into conspiracy theories."

Asked whether Trump declaring election fraud might warrant invoking the 25th Amendment, Ossoff didn't blink: "I think it's time for the president to do something of value for the American people instead of lining his own pockets while he's in office."

But the most striking moment came when Ossoff connected the dots on WHY Trump is fixated on Georgia specifically. "From the very moment Georgia voters rejected him in 2020, he's been on the warpath because he was humiliated by the rebuke that Georgians dealt him," Ossoff said. "And he was humiliated and furious in particular, AS A COMMITTED LIFELONG RACIST, that it was Black voters in Georgia who were instrumental in his defeat."

That's not rhetoric. That's a sitting U.S. senator naming exactly what's driving a sitting president's assault on American elections.

Ossoff also didn't let Georgia Republicans off the hook, pointing out that Congressman Mike Collins — who's launched his campaign to unseat Ossoff in November while doubling down on 2020 election denialism — now has to defend both Trump's conspiracy theories AND a health insurance premium hike that's hit more than a million Georgians.

"Let's see how Mike Collins handles this now," Ossoff said.

Perhaps most telling: Ossoff revealed that privately, "most elected Republicans in this building think the president has lost it and is dooming them to dismal losses this fall." They just won't say it publicly.

Trump isn't fighting for election integrity. He’s fighting to keep Democrats from gaining control of Congress and finally holding him accountable for his multitude of crimes and misdeeds. He's fighting against the voters — especially Black voters — who rejected him once already, both in Georgia and other states across the country.

His racist, authoritarian agenda must be defeated!
