So awful! Exactly! In my case, it was the DCF manager that had it out for us. I don’t think she liked it that I spoke up for myself on our first phone call. I wasn’t disrespectful at all, but I think she expected me to just comply without defending myself. We actually liked the case worker, she was young and really sweet, but a new hire. I think she was afraid to speak up to the manager and say “this is wrong.” She told me that she had a few cases very similar to mine, and didn’t really agree with it, but had to follow orders.

Connecticut, GET ON THE FUCKING PHONES RIGHT NOW and slaughter Senate Bill 6 before these power-drunk parasites in Hartford turn every parent into a registered suspect for daring to protect their own kids. Section 5 of this omnibus abomination is crystal-clear tyranny: any time a child is withdrawn from public school...for homeschooling, private school, moving, medical reasons, whatever...the district has two business days to snitch to the Commissioner of Education. Then the state loops in DCF, the same child-welfare machine that already failed in those headline abuse cases, to “check for open cases” and flag your family file like you’re already guilty. No probable cause. No individualized suspicion. Just blanket surveillance on every family exercising their rights. Even the Department of Education itself admitted in written testimony they cannot comply...resources don’t exist, privacy walls...hello FERPA...get smashed, and the whole thing collapses under its own unconstitutional weight. This isn’t child protection. It’s psychological warfare designed to crush the human spirit. They take rare, horrific tragedies...where monsters already slipped through existing DCF cracks...and weaponize them to flip the presumption of innocence on its head. Every parent who pulls their kid from the failing public indoctrination factories now feels the cold shadow of the state: “If you opt out, we’re watching you.” That’s textbook authoritarian conditioning...create fear, normalize intrusion, erode the sacred family bond until the collective owns your blood. It’s the same mind-fuck they’ve run for decades: make freedom feel dangerous so you crawl back into the cage. Homeschool families exploding post-COVID exposed the system’s rot...grooming, incompetence, ideological brainwashing disguised as “education.” This bill is their revenge: punish the exodus, keep the enrollment numbers (and union dues) flowing. Constitutionally? This is a lethal violation of bedrock American law. Pierce v. Society of Sisters 1925: "The child is not the mere creature of the State; those who nurture him and direct his destiny have the right, coupled with the high duty…” Meyer v. Nebraska. Troxel v. Granville. All rooted in the 14th Amendment’s substantive due process...parental authority is fundamental, not some privilege the legislature can revoke on a whim. No compelling state interest justifies treating every withdrawal as a red flag. This bill is vague, overbroad, chills the free exercise of rights, and turns the state into Big Brother with a badge. Lawyers from HSLDA and constitutional heavyweights are already calling it a “gross overreach” and “unconstitutional outrage.” They’re right. It’s not law...it’s a slow-motion coup against the family. These spineless fucks in the Children’s Committee...yes, the irony...can’t stomach parents who see through their scam. They want your kids as wards of the state, compliant little cogs in their failing machine. Fuck that. This is not good. This is the line in the sand. Parents are sovereign. Families are sacred. The state is the servant, not the master. 🗡️💀⚖️🗡️
