I believe every trader will face a time in their trading journey where they have to make a decision between one of two things:
1. Get so sick and tired of making the same mistakes that they are forced to change.
OR
2. Quit trading forever
Majority of you will take the easy way out
I don’t care how accurate you think your analysis is…if you speak in certainties, it shows you lack real experience in the markets.
Markets can, and will, defy all logic at times.. leaving those who are overconfident in their systems scratching their heads.
If you want you’re AHA moments when backtesting then backtest according to the previous weeks economic calendar.
Focus ONLY on the high impact news (red folders).
All you need:
- Economic Calendar
- True Week and or Day Open
- Premium & Discount / Arrays
- Liquidity Pools
Understanding how to navigate the economic calendar will solve the majority of hurdles you are probably having from Time, Price & Psychology.
Understanding it filters:
- Day Of Week
- Time Of Day
- Bias / Draw On Liquidity
- Forecasting Session Moves
- Manipulation / Inducement
If you struggle with patience it will solve that problem as well.
@MyFundedFX@MattLCEO Top tier customer service, transparency in the prop game that never seen before, forcing changing upon the entire industry to better suite traders as it’s built by traders. Big props to you guys 🙏
@Ultrafyy Nah not you haha, more so referring to people I went to school with years back, never really care that I left but once they see I’m in hospital they’re “there for me”
Do you think it’s Orderblocks, fvgs, breakers that makes the trader profitable? Ha!
If it was so there should be a lot more SMC traders killing it. Why’s that?
You missed the whole point from the jump. It was always about the narrative, and not fvgs or OBs
The one thing I’ve constantly reminded myself since dropping out of school in my final year is:
“Any risks taken in the pursuit of fulfillment is a success, even if the risk failed to yield the desired outcome”
You have done something many never have the balls to do. You won.
