@BradLoganCOTE It’s taking what has been good self help and therapy words and twisting it towards victimization. There was a pathway of exiting that may have still caused hurt, but would have allowed time to be medicine so that what was done could be one day celebrated. That ship has sailed.
@ScoutSteveR “There is no search party being formed to save you…”
Power forward. I celebrated six months of sobriety this week, and I thankful for the circle of people do support me, but ultimately the path forward is one that I had to choose to take.
Thanks, @ScoutSteveR
@robbiefaulkOn3 It takes a lot of guts and humility to walk through the door where you were fired to take a lesser job. For him to one it says a lot. I also think everybody loves a good comeback/redemption story.
@HailState_CO I don’t think Strickland is wrong in his gut about Lane and he probably wanted to sabotage it if it really gets down to it, but it really doesn’t matter because perception is reality and when the vast majority of Florida fans wanted him… the right thing and still get you fired.
@thebutterknife That’s the thing. People talk about change, but transformation comes with clinical work and years of developing self awareness. People who lack empathy rarely ever find it, and are certainly not to be trusted.
@NicoleAuerbach Often, change of this magnitude takes years of clinical work and self discovery. And there has to be a deep level of empathy and compassion. That’s not saying people can’t take jobs/leave, but people with empathy for those around them would’ve handled it differently.
@robbiefaulkOn3 It’s that whole, “I don’t care if he’s a jerk. He’s my jerk.” but haven’t helped you when you flip off the people who gave you everything you wanted.
@ByPatForde It felt like from 1998 Tubberville (OM/AU) till 2017 Dan Mullen (MSU/UF), you really didn’t see a head football coach poached across SEC lines.
@DanWolken The way he is acting right now is exactly the reason you had to cut him off. He’s self fulfilling, his own self-destructive prophecy. No amount of fortune cookie feel-good quotes could help this tiger change their stripes.
