I am currently in quarantine for stem cell transplant so today Doug and @shelbyyyreed drove to the parking garage outside my window to wave to me, heart is super full. Been rough but going to put this cancer in remission

Students shaved my head to prep for transplant. They raised over $1150 for @LLSusa super proud of them. Bonus my sister and the wonderful @shelbyyyreed got to be here for it too. Thanks for all the love and kindness I have received.

@shelbyyyreed will be home in 3 hours- when she left this semester I was in the hospital- so excited to see her, still fighting cancer but seeing her will definitely help!

@kyalitaa I am bad about remembering last names but always thought it was important to know each of my students first names, would make a game of it so as they walked in the first week I would challenge myself to know their name- that connection matters!
