The Lady Comets beat Streator 9–4. Moyers recorded 7 strikeouts. Steichen went 2 for 2 with a single and a triple, while Foote finished 2 for 4 with a single and a home run. Wilkey added a 2 for 2 performance with two singles.

The Lady Comets defeated Plano 11–2 in last nights game. Foote went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a home run. Vanek finished 2 for 3 with a single and a double. Wilkey added 3 singles, while Cassem and Syc each had 2 singles. Moyers pitched a complete game with 8 strikeouts.

The Lady Comets fell to Manteno 5–3 in last night’s matchup. Syc led the offense, going 2 for 3 with a single & a 2-run HR. Moyers, Foote, and Vanek each went 1 for 3 with a double, while Wilkey added a single. Steichen in the circle, pitched 6 innings with a 0 ERA.

The Lady Comets roll past Dwight 8–0. Vanek and Esparza each recorded a single and a double, while Gonzalez went 1 for 1 with a single. Moyers finished 2 for 4 at the plate with 2 singles and dominated in the circle, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 9.

Lady Comets defeat Clifton Central 3–2. Syc went 3/4 with 2 1B & a 2B, Foote 2/4 with 2 1B. Robinson 1/2 with a. 1B. Steichen had a 2B and 4 SO on the mound. The Comets posted a .960 FCPT, highlighted by a game-saving double play from Gonzalez and Klein in the final inning.

The Lady Comets secured another win over Lisle, 5–2. Foote led the offense, going 3/4 with a 1B, 2B, & a 3B. Moyers added a strong 2/4 performance with a 2B & 3B, while Wilkey went 2/4 with 2 1B. Syc chipped in with a 3B, going 1/2. Klein dominated in the circle, totaling 8 SO.

The Lady Comets dominated Lisle with an 11-0 victory. Wilkey went 3 for 4 at the plate with 2-1B and a 2B. Moyers finished 2 for 3 with a 1B and a 3B, and also delivered a strong performance in the circle with 9 strikeouts over 6 IN. Foote added going 2 for 4 with a 3B and a HR.

Lady Comets secure their 2nd win over Herscher, 14–3. Foote went 2-for-3 & Klein 1-for-2, while Esparza, Moyers, Steichen, Syc, & Vanek each finished 2-for-4. The team totaled 16 hits, with Steichen allowing just 6 hits & the defense staying strong with 2 double plays made.

The Lady Comets take Game 1 over Herscher in a high-scoring 18–15 win. Syc going 4 for 4 with a HR and 5RBIs. Wilkey went 2 for 2, scoring 4R. Esparza went 3 for 5, highlighted by an inside-the-park HR. Moyers pitched 5 innings, striking out 5—including 2 in the final frame.

The Comets dropped a 6–4 contest to Pontiac. Foote led the way at the plate, going 2 for 3 with a pair of singles. Moyers went 1 for 2, delivering a clutch two-run single, while Wilkey added a triple to the gap to bring in a run. Moyers also recorded five strikeouts on the mound.

Reed-Custer drops a tough 2–1 game to Gardner-South Wilmington. Syc led the offense with a single & 1 RBI, while Vanek added a hit. Esparza reached twice with 2 walks & came around to score the Comets’ lone run. Another strong defensive performance backed Steichen on the mound.

The Comets dominated with a 16–3 win over El Paso-Gridley last night! Foote was unstoppable, going 4 for 4 with a HR & 8 RBIs. Syc had a big performance at 2 for 3 with a HR & 4 RBIs. Steichen, pitching all 7 innings with 3 SO, and the Comets backed it up with a strong .920 FPCT.

The Comets secured an 8–7 victory in their home opener against Newark. Moyers pitched all 7 innings and recorded 15 strikeouts. Comets tallied 10 hits on the night, with Syc, Moyers, Foote, & Esparza each collecting 2 hits. Syc and Vanek each drove in 2 runs. Way to go Comets!
