I finished Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky. It's a great adventure story that features African American folk heroes and West African Gods.

8th grade science students had a great time participating in the Tower Challenge today. They got the number of cards based on the similarities they could find with their team! #ofd90#WelcomeToOurHouse
We all had a great first day getting to know each other, learning about the POP check-in procedure, and 7th ELA students started our study of identity. It's going to be a great year!
We want our classroom to be more connected! We would love support to help have access to tablets in our classroom. Donations to this project are currently being doubled by an anonymous donor!! https://t.co/15yqaOIXfL
Fulton's 7th Grade ELA supplies. Note: Mrs. Reed's students will ALSO need a composition notebook. One of the folders will be stored in the classroom, the other will be used in the binder.
Talked about @JasonReynolds83 Sunny at #ProjectLITBookClub today! The group was impressed with how different each book in the series has been. They said it seems like each has a different author because you can really feel the narrator's voice.
@ffarokhi@ProjectLITComm I think they'll love it! I was hoping to wait until it's out in paperback, but they really wanted read it next. I should probably start working on copies of Lu now. ๐
Thankful for Paul M, Teresa C, and Victoria E who all donated copies of Sunny for our April @ProjectLITComm. Looking forward to getting these to the kids!!
