Today, the @washingtonpost released the first 3 episodes of #BrokenDoors - our new investigative podcast on how easy it is to abuse no-knock warrants. It’s hosted by @jennabelson and @ndungca, and boy have I got a thread for you on what we uncovered: https://t.co/6qBMZn0Bkf
'The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop' is one of the best podcasts I've ever heard. A mystery that could not be twistier and that is also important. New revelations along the way. Amazing characters. I can't recommend it highly enough. https://t.co/3CC9W7yUeb
It's Filipino American History Month. Eat all the lumpia, but also read about events like the 1904 World's Fair, where Filipinos were put on display in St. Louis.
We put out a comic on the fair for our series on the Smithsonian's human brain collection.

Feinstein was a political brawler who squared off with the likes of the CIA and NRA
She also represented my home state since I was born
@pkcapitol who's covered a majority of Feinstein's career in the Senate is on #PostReports today to discuss her legacy https://t.co/bhnVHa0qLR
In 1933, a physician took the brain of 18-year-old Mary Sara after she died, likely without consent. He sent it to the Smithsonian’s US National Museum for a “racial brain collection.”
Today, 90 years later, Sara’s family buried her brain with the rest of her remains in Seattle
"You look back on the successes, but you don't understand what a high risk venture this was" -- Today's @washingtonpost#PostReports podcast just dropped, my interview with @nu1wcf about the March on Washington. He brings serious wisdom and perspective 1/x https://t.co/KfetfpxvEO
The Natural History Museum today has 255 brains, just a portion of at least 30,700 human remains.
This includes the brains of a Sami woman named Mary Sara, Indigenous Filipinos who died at the 1904 World’s Fair, Black people who died in DC, and others from around the world.
@ReenaJF put together two podcast episodes following Mary Sara’s story, and our reporting, for Post Reports.
Thursday, we’ll share a behind the scenes video about our reporting process from @joysharonyi.

Important investigation into the Smithsonian’s collection of 250+ human brains, most removed without consent from Black & Indigenous people -- an effort led by Ales Hrdlicka, a curator who believed that White people were superior.

For some reason this skinny Scottish white guy 🙋♂️ is fascinated by the history, culture and sociology of hip-hop. This @washingtonpost doc by Sean Carter (not THAT Sean Carter) and @ArjSingh92 is an absolutely brilliant listen:

We made an audio documentary about hip-hop!
Hear the story of how hip-hop came to be from the legends themselves, including Rakim, YoYo, The Lady of Rage and others.
Honored that my friend Sean Carter allowed me and @ReenaJF to help him tell his story. https://t.co/t3uPzMNn6q
Honored to have produced this episode for @washingtonpost's Post Reports with the great @arelisrhdz@ReenaJF, Martine Powers @RennieYS and Ted Muldoon.
I still cannot listen to this episode without tearing up. Thank you to Jalissa Ybarra for recounting one of the worst days.

So... I'm sure you saw something about that mind-bending discovery about how our universe functions right?
Thankfully we have @vmjaggard99 to make it make sense on Post Reports (and yes, she answers my time travel question!)
This was a fun one: https://t.co/wxFZ2qi4zO
per usual, @ReenaJF and i did this for the kaibigan, the kababayan, the Filipino diaspora. I’m lucky to know her and learn from her, to share midnight dinners at a St. Louis Waffle House with her 🇵🇭🇵🇭
