🚨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland is facing a massive data centre explosion and most people have no idea.

In a small village in Fife called Auchtertool.

A giant 600 megawatt AI hyperscale data centre called Cato is being proposed on farmland right next to Auchtertool in Fife, just 7 to 8 miles from the existing Queensway Park data centre in Glenrothes.

This monster project will cover around 61 acres, the size of about 35 football pitches.

One project alone using as much electricity every year as half a million Scottish homes, roughly 20% of the entire country's electricity consumption.

These hyperscale AI data centres are popping up across Scotland, sucking up massive amounts of power, water for cooling, and farmland, while we already pay some of the highest energy bills in Europe.

Scotland and its people have become the AI testing ground for the tech bro's

I have done many investigations into statins starting around 2004.
The facts are shocking.
And then my husband was harmed by them.
Who caught it?
Not his doctors. I did.
They didn't even ask about his statin use when he had debilitating leg pain.
It should have been the first thing they asked.
They gave him shots in his knees and acted mystified when it didn't help.
Turns out he had developed a potentially fatal side effect called rhabdomyalosis.
Ony because I was reporting the stories on statins did I recognize what might be wrong.
Since I first began looking into statins, serious side effects the manufacturers initially denied have been added to the label.
Many esteemed doctors are ignorant of these, partly because of how and what they're taught in med school (see my book "Follow the Science."

Residents living near certain data centers in places like Virginia, Texas, Ireland, and the United Kingdom have complained about symptoms including:

Sleep disruption, Headaches, Stress and anxiety, Fatigue, Difficulty concentrating, and Irritability

Many of these complaints are linked to constant noise, especially low-frequency noise from cooling systems, fans, transformers, and backup power equipment. Some residents describe a persistent hum or vibration that is particularly noticeable at night.

The strongest scientific evidence points to noise exposure as the most plausible mechanism. We already know from decades of research that chronic environmental noise can affect sleep quality, stress hormones, cardiovascular health, and cognitive performance. Similar concerns have been raised around airports, highways, industrial facilities, and wind turbines.

Paul Héroux, associate professor of medicine at McGill University, has warned that high levels of infrasound may affect the nervous system and heart function. He argues that sound, electric fields, and magnetic fields of similar frequencies can have overlapping biological effects because they introduce disruptive forms of energy into living systems.

Recent research has found that chronic environmental noise exposure can affect children especially hard. Long-term noise exposure can lead to poorer cognitive performance, reduced reading comprehension, concentration difficulties, higher stress levels, and behavioral challenges.

The debate is no longer just about technology or infrastructure; it is about the environments we are creating and whether the hidden costs of constant industrial noise are being adequately considered for the people who live nearby. What is unfolding in our world continually shows what we value as a society. It's not human health or human well being, it is the expansion of economies, war power and technology at all costs. Our views of progress are too narrow.

THE LITTLE ICE AGE - The real reason why climate has been warming of recent is entirely natural: it is because we are still emerging from The Little Ice Age.
See painting of a frozen over Thames by Graham Turner. In the winter of 1683/84, the ice was almost a foot thick and the Thames remained frozen for weeks. Boats were fitted with skates and stalls set up with food, shops and games.
The Little Ice Age (LIA) was a period of significant regional cooling, particularly in Europe, characterized by harsh winters, and expanded glaciers.
Winter temperatures in Europe dropped as much as 2°C below modern averages.
The event lasted from roughly 1300 to 1850, spanning nearly 500 years. It is generally divided into phases: an initial cooling around 1300, a slightly warmer period in the 1500s, and the coldest interval between 1645 and 1715 (known as the Maunder Minimum).
The LIA was primarily triggered by the Grand Solar Minima, which caused reduced solar irradiance, and therefore cooling.
We are still emerging from the Little Ice Age, and that is the only reason some areas are warmer than centuries ago. This has very little to do with CO2 and everything to do with the Sun.
To put it simply, both the activity of the Sun and the Sun-Earth distance changes, and this modulates the amount of both solar irradiance and solar radiation, which affects clouds, and this combined change is what leads to long term changes in climatic temperatures.
It's definitely not CO2 causing any of this.

I am a poultry Breeder. The hens that lay white eggs (Amberline/White Star) DO NOT have a lower carbon footprint.

Yes they eat a bit less and produce roughly the same amount of eggs as the Brown egg layers (Bovan/Lowman/ISA Brown) but they live shorter lives, are prone to dying suddenly when startled, a flighty and nervous and because they live shorter productive lives (12 -18mnths) vs brown 18/24mnths (both commercial farmed), you have to incubate more which is increased (Electricity/gas costs) and their eggs are not the same quality.

I breed and keep 20+ different breeds, including: ISA Brown hens and White Stars. All my hens are 100% free range, Not a single barn kept bird, I have ISA browns that are 5yrs old and still laying beautiful Brown eggs, I have not seen a White star live beyond 3yrs and certainly none have laid eggs past 18-24mnths.
White stars Lay themselves to death. They are slender birds and because they dont eat a lot, it drains their personal vitality to keep up laying the eggs you want to sell because of the nonsensical lie that they are "More Carbon Neutral"

You want to know about eggs, come talk to someone like me, Don't rely on some hairbrained imagination of a buyer who's trying to squeeze the profit margin for a few extra pennies at our expense and to the poor hens detriment.

This 600MW AI data centre is proposed on scenic farmland by the village of Auchtertool, between Kircaldy and Cowdenbeath in Fife.

The size of the data centre enormous and as you can see from the maps, it dwarfs the neighbouring village of Auchertool.

It has been calculated that this data centre will use the same amount of energy in a year than half of Scotland’s households, or 20% of Scotland’s total energy use. So the energy use of Achtertool data centre when built will use in a year the same energy as 1.34 million households – or 53% of Scottish households.

The world's green leaf area—visible from space—has increased by around 5.5 million square kilometres in just over two decades.

This is a 5% global increase, equivalent to adding an entire Amazon Rainforest to the planet since 2000. NASA satellite research reveals this extra leaf cover also acts as its own natural air conditioner. At least 30% of the greened areas are experiencing measurable cooling due to the way plants manage water vapor and air turbulence.

Some early models predicted the growth might slow, but even in intensively farmed lands, food production (grains, vegetables and fruits) jumped by 35-40%. Around 70% of this regeneration is attributed to increasing levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO₂), rising from 370 ppm to 426 ppm between 2000 and 2026.

As this expanding patina of green leaf cover and real-world cooling data forced their way into the climate equation, the extreme high-end models have begun to unravel. Mainstream projections have steadily downgraded the narrative, shifting away from catastrophic 5-degree predictions toward a far lower ceiling.

The planet is fighting back with its own biological feedback loop.

Quinoa arrived wearing a full halo: ancient, complete protein, Andean, an entire UN International Year to itself. The first problem is that it is not a grain at all. It is the seed of a goosefoot, a weedy cousin of spinach and beetroot, which tells you everything about the chemistry it carries.

Every seed is wrapped in saponins, the plant's own pesticide. Bitter, soapy compounds that foam in water, irritate the gut, and can punch holes in cell membranes. This is why every bag orders you to rinse it until the water runs clear. You are scrubbing a chemical weapon off your health food before you are allowed to eat it, and nobody blinks.

Rinse the soap away and the seed is still armed. Like its cousin spinach, it is loaded with oxalates, the calcium-binding compounds that build kidney stones. It packs roughly a gram of phytic acid per hundred grams, which clamps onto the iron, zinc and magnesium the label brags about and marches them straight out of you. Then trypsin inhibitors to block protein digestion. The famous complete protein spends the whole meal confiscating its own minerals.

So the sacred ancient supergrain is a soapy weed seed, armed to the teeth, that you must decontaminate at the sink before it is fit to eat.

Five thousand years of wisdom, and the instructions still start with rinsing off the poison.
