Himalayan Pink salt is not from the Himalayan mountains by the way… it’s Pakistan Pink Salt but that wouldn’t sell in the west so they change the name.
You’re welcome.
🤩 The Vietnam pheasant is about to "touch grass" again. 20 birds are flying from Berlin to Vietnam, and the moment they land, a Critically Endangered species is officially back in the wild after 25 years. Congrats Viet Nature, @OfficialZSL and @chesterzoo. (1/3)
Trump isn’t done yet…
Hosting an insane UFC fight until way past midnight and finalizing an Iran peace deal wasn’t enough.
POTUS just landed in Geneva for the G7 conference after a 2am flight.
This is a man who NEVER stops fighting for America.
Absolute machine 🇺🇸
When Charlie and I had just started dating, we went to a UFC fight together, so when we found out about it as a possibility for 250th we were so stoked and made plans to be there...what a memory that would’ve been to share with our grandkids one day.
Good luck to the fighters tonight, and Happy Birthday to @POTUS and our great military!!
My last birthday post for President Trump tonight and this one is personal.
This man has not just been my president, he has been a friend to me.
Behind the title, the cameras, and everything people say about him, there is a real person with a real heart.
Tonight, I want to share the good side of President Trump that so many people refuse to show, because he deserves that.
No, I don’t talk to him every day, and I don’t get to see him often. But every time I do see him, he treats me with nothing but kindness.
He gave me a stage and allowed me to speak at the White House. He has shared my posts, given me recognition, and encouraged me to keep going and never give up.
One moment I will never forget happened at dinner. I told him I didn’t want to interrupt his time with his family, and he looked at me and said, “You are family too.”
That meant more to me than he will ever know.
I have personally experienced his kindness, and I will never forget it.
Happy Birthday, President Trump. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and always treating me with respect. I pray God continues to protect you, strengthen you, and bless you.
🇺🇸 UFC star Michael Chandler made his walk to the White House Octagon alongside 100-year-old Medal of Honor recipient Royce Williams, who famously shot down four enemy jets during the Korean War.
On June 13, 1777, a 19-year-old French teenager landed on a beach in South Carolina, uninvited, to fight in someone else's war. He would become one of the most important men in American history.
The Marquis de Lafayette was one of the richest young aristocrats in France. He had a beautiful wife, a fortune, and zero reason to risk any of it. But he believed in the American cause so fiercely that when the French king forbade him from going, Lafayette bought his own ship and sailed anyway. He literally went AWOL from a life of luxury to bleed for a country that didn't exist yet.
Congress was annoyed at first. Another foreign officer looking for a paycheck? Then Lafayette offered to serve for free and pay his own way. That got their attention.
He met Washington and the two formed one of the great father-son bonds in American history. Washington had no biological children. Lafayette named his only son George Washington Lafayette.
He took a bullet in the leg at Brandywine and kept rallying the retreat. He was instrumental at Yorktown, the battle that won the war. He went home a hero on two continents.
A foreign teenager believed in America before America did. 249 years ago today.
During the 2022 Buffalo blizzard, Jay Withey went door to door searching for shelter.
Ten times, he was turned away.
So he broke a window at Pine Hill School and guided 24 stranded people inside, including seven elderly individuals whose vehicles had run out of fuel.
He found cereal in the cafeteria, gym mats for makeshift beds, and gave everyone a chance to make it through the night.
Before leaving, he wrote a note: “I’m terribly sorry about the window. I had to save everyone. Merry Christmas, Jay.”
Police later asked the public to help locate him. Not so they could arrest him, but so they could thank him.
