Worship Is Powerful.

Lately, I have been learning something that has helped me more than I can explain.

Whenever I start feeling anxious, overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or weighed down by the pressures of life, I don't always look for more answers. I don't spend hours scrolling on my phone. I don't try to distract myself.

Instead, I look for a worship session—sometimes one that lasts an hour or even longer.

I switch off my phone.

I shut out every distraction.

I find a quiet place where it's just me and God.

Sometimes I sing along with the worship.

Sometimes I kneel.

Sometimes I simply lie on the floor with tears running down my face.

I pour out everything that has been weighing on my heart. I tell God about my fears, my disappointments, my frustrations, my unanswered prayers, and the battles that no one else knows about. I stop pretending to be strong and simply surrender everything into His hands.

There are moments when no words come out. The worship speaks for me. The presence of God says what my heart cannot express.

And every single time I finish, I notice something has changed.

The problems may still be there.

The challenges may not have disappeared overnight.

But my heart is lighter.

My mind becomes calmer.

The anxiety loses its grip.

Peace begins to fill the place where fear had settled.

That is the power of God's presence.

Worship is more than singing songs. It is an act of surrender. It is choosing God's presence over panic, faith over fear, and peace over pressure.

If your heart feels heavy today, don't underestimate the power of shutting everything else off for a while and spending time in God's presence. You may not receive every answer immediately, but you may receive the peace you need to keep moving forward.

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." — Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)

Sometimes the greatest miracle isn't that your situation changes instantly.

Sometimes the greatest miracle is that God changes your heart while you are in His presence.

Never underestimate the healing, strength, and peace that can come through genuine worship.

This morning we posted about our sister Amahle Thabethe, missing since July 2019… we’ve been praying every single day for any sign of her.

Today a video dropped and I’m shaking as I type this. It’s HER. It’s really Amahle. You can see her face clear as day in a spaza shop with some Bangladeshi man. He’s speaking in his language, smiling, saying he’s got a South African girl with him… like she’s some prize he’s showing off.💔😭

In the comments other old man from there (Bangladesh) are saying “these SA girls don’t even have phones anymore” and begging for contacts. I’m sick to my stomach. This is trafficking. Our baby might have been sold… forced into pr0st¡tuti0n… far away from home. 🇿🇦

(Amahle) She’s in Bangladesh right now, alone, scared, and nobody there to protect her.

Mamas, daddies, brothers, sisters… PLEASE I’m begging you on my knees, share this post. Flood every page, every group, every story. Tag everyone you know. Let this reach her family, her mom who hasn’t slept properly in 6 years.
