@coreyhoganyyc Net debt doesn't erase gross debt, Corey. Your own graphic shows Canada's gross debt at 113.5% of GDP. The question is simple: what measurable results are Canadians getting for another $765 billion in borrowing?
My goodness, say it ain't so! Elizabeth May for the WIN!! The honourable Member of Parliament for Saanich—Gulf Islands highlighted page 352, which has the wishy-washy definition of what constitutes "Capital Investment". @IceCapGlobal
BREAKING: Nenshi’s office ignored dire warnings that caused Calgary water chaos. When water main issues were put on Nenshi's desk, he shrugged, and deliberately withheld information from city council. The NDP leader should resign.

@merry123459 Canada's trade policy shouldn't be dictated by American election results. Poilievre's job is to negotiate the best deal for Canadians, protect our industries and secure our economic future. That's called leadership, not blind loyalty to Trump.
@gator_gum Not controlling Trump doesn't mean you can't negotiate with him. There's a difference between controlling someone and using Canada's leverage to secure a better deal. Don't confuse the two.
@msSharanKaur Jasmine actually explained her argument, addressed the criticism and invited discussion. Sharon responded by assigning motives and shouting racism. One is making a case; the other is trying to shut down debate. Maybe address the argument instead of attacking the person.
Cenovus and Suncor alone will pay ~$7 billion in royalties and taxes this quarter.
I won’t have anyone ever tell me again Canada subsidises the oil and gas sector. I won’t.
#BREAKING: Corrupt Banker Mark Carney has 200 secret private employees in his Major Projects Office. One-third are from outside the public service and partly paid by their original employers. Mark Carney refuses to disclose those companies.
@MarkJCarney@dsimieritsch@Brookfield
What is so bananas about an article arguing that Canada needs even more government involvement to improve its economy is that, by many key metrics, the government's economic footprint is the largest it's been in 25 years. Employment, CAPEX, Consumption, and Taxes are just a few examples I've shared in the chart below.
What does Canada have to show for it? A Productivity Emergency. Anemic private-sector CAPEX. Pitiful competition in Banking, Telecoms, and Transport. Net FDI Outflows. A 30-year low in R&D spend. Business birth collapse. Zero Equity IPOs. NYMBYs. Impact Assessments. Ethnic vetos. Mushrooming manufacturing regulations. Withering economic freedom. Censorship. Mass media bias. Historic hospital wait times. It goes on and on and on.
Canada's problem is NOT a lack of government; it is that there is way too much government involvement. They pick winners, punish productivity, suppress talent, scare away what moves, tax what doesn't and squander billions; it's everywhere and in everything.
And the results? abysmal.
It may be time for a different approach.
Time to wake Up Canada 🇨🇦
Mark Carney is setting himself up to become super rich off Canadian taxpayers

@MoralityPLS@kim_gaetz Condemn atrocities, absolutely. But disagreement isn't endorsement, and accusations aren't evidence. Hold everyone accountable by the same standard. That's all I'll say on it.
@MoralityPLS@kim_gaetz Why should Canadians suffer because politicians hate Trump? The US took 71.7% of our goods exports in 2025. The EU took 5.5%. Nine EU countries still haven't ratified CETA. Diversification isn't an overnight replacement. And shouldn't Epstein scrutiny apply regardless of party?
@MoralityPLS@kim_gaetz Why focus on labels instead of policies? What about Carney's decisions on Canada's economy, energy, spending, trade and national security? Are those not worth questioning? Where is the same outrage when government decisions directly affect millions of Canadians?
