This isn't worshiping him. It's named after him because he's the reason we all know coaches have been getting in trouble.

Even if he didn't start, he'd be an incredibly serviceable backup or emergency third string. The only reason to cut him would be for optics, not financial literacy.

Does it mean him leaving, or does it mean a fresh coaching staff and front office (the writing was on the wall), all while he knows he's too expensive to cut? Bottom line: Nobody knows. At no point did anyone ask him about going to a new team.

@Mulletman451 @AdamSchefter These games don't count, and Wilson was never the future. He was a competent stopgap solution in the event Tua got injured. Time to see if Ewers is either the future or worth developing for trade value. Otherwise, we're in the dark, and he becomes a wasted draft pick.
