In a touching story revealed by historian Michael Beschloss, when former President Jimmy Carter was at his sickest, and they feared the worst, he refused hospital care saying he wanted to pass away holding Rosalynn’s hand.

New information has surfaced that when Rosalynn died Sunday, she did so with her loving husband holding her hand.

“Number one, this was one of the great marriages in American history, even if they weren’t president and first lady,” Beschloss said.

“Not only the length of this marriage, (77 years) but the closeness of it - that partnership.”

MVC Small Diamond Summer League is now taking team registrations from local leagues. This league was created to serve the non-all star/ non-district player. It gives them an opportunity to play against competition from other towns & an environment that provides equal competition

Senior Captain James McConnell has been a significant contributor over the years. On the mound he competes and at 1B he makes the infield better. He will be going directly into his career area post graduation.

Senior Captain Jose Adames will be going on to Fisher College with hopes of playing there. We wish Jose all the best! Really improved on his blocking behind the plate and it made a big difference for our pitchers.

Congratulations to Yuniel Rivera. Yuniel came out of nowhere and just eats innings. Beyond that, his attitude and presence is always positive. Good luck in your future endeavors,

Each day I'll recognize a graduating senior. Today is senior Juan Gonzalez, both a player and a student I have in class. A bright young man who does absolutely anything the team needs. He's going to a 4-year school to study engineering and we wish him all the best

Second Annual Alumni Baseball Game
June 11th we will continue a new tradition of our Alumni Baseball Game. W are looking at a 4:30 start where players come to warm up, socialize, and take some BP with the game starting at 6 pm! We do ask for a $10 donation for food and drinks!
