Children are asking for a safer online world.
We asked Europeans aged 12–17 for their views on apps, websites, games & social media:
🚸80% support rules for loot boxes
🚸78% support age limits
🚸48% want controls on features like infinite scroll

We need age-appropriate restrictions on platforms.
This is not about whether children can access social media.
It is about when social media can access our children.

Jackie Fox lost her daughter, Nicole "Coco," after three years of relentless online and offline bullying.
When Jackie took the evidence to the police, she was told no crime had been committed.
She refused to give up. She campaigned, met every political leader in Ireland, and helped make cyberbullying a crime through ‘Coco's Law’ - protecting thousands of children.
Nicole's story is not an isolated tragedy. 1 in 3 children experience online bullying - and 1 in 3 never report it out of fear or shame.
"We want to fight to have ‘Coco's Law’ at the European level as well - that we are protecting our children online today", says @ManfredWeber.

Although housing isn't an EU competency. a summit of housing ministers is almost always held by the country that holds the EU presidency. I spoke at last year's housing summit in Copenhagen and as a token of thanks received a Lego bunch of flowers from the Danish government!
Ukraine is getting bombarded by Russian drones and missiles every night, with innocent civilians dying. Despite this, they are bravely resisting Putin's war machine, defending their democracy and hopes for a European future.
That is why we must continue to support Ukraine, and reduce Russia's capacity to wage their war of terror. We must show Ukraine there is a credible path to EU membership, while limiting the Russian war economy through sanctions
