#wewereliars broke my heart and healed it at the same time - How is that even possible??? It’s hard to believe you can become that invested in a group of characters. The loss feels so real, and yet there’s some peace in knowing the cycle may be broken.

Although 2020 shook us in many ways that we could have never imagined in 2019, it also showed me how to slow down and not take so many things & people for granted. I’ve been inspired to start writing again in the new year. Lord knows, 2020 has given me so much material.

I genuinely don’t understand why some people won’t even try precautions that could help “flatten the curve” of COVID-19...pride is a dangerous beast. Have your tactics of ignoring COVID-19 worked so far? Nope. Has it disappeared? Nope. Get real humans, we must unite & try!

@WWAY Opening public accesses at CB & KB has encouraged crowds similar to normal summer crowds. Not sure how they’re distancing. This was traffic on Saturday as people were coming into Carolina Beach.
