@Mathmagic10 And yes I'm aware DRE is normally referred to as the other way around (meaning you _do_ actually live a would-be KO fast move to get your charge move off), but if Niantic claims to have actually fixed it, it would make more sense to consider the error being when you don't. ;)
@Mathmagic10 Are these fixes actually right though? If so they're recent, given I had two of them occur in the same sequence on Wednesday (my Sableye fainted on 2nd Incinerate from a Salazzle when doing 4 SC -> FP) - that could only happen if _both_ losing a turn on entry + DRE occurred...
@Mathmagic10 It's of course not impossible these are actually fixed - the fixes are likely server-side (as opposed to needing a new version of PoGO, though they _did_ also just force 0.313.0 I believe); I just don't really believe it until I've seen real proof😆
@4TheBattles@playpokemon For my first regionals I drew @_OnionFr4nk in the opener, then got the loser of @WdagePoGo and @TheArrohh soon afterwards; went about as expected (though I did actually push Arrohh somewhat at least). But hey, at least for me it was all of a 20-minute bus ride to get there. :P
@TheArrohh Good games today! Wish we both could have done better but as soon as I saw the bracket I knew the best I could truly realistically hope for was the 1-2 I managed. 😆
@PoGoKieng (2/2) Being conscious to maintain a rhythmic breathing pattern (typically 2:2 for longer runs) let me run mid-longer distances no problem (10k's usually in the ~45-minute ballpark), as opposed to being gassed and having to walk in just a few minutes if I let it lapse...
@PoGoKieng (1/2) I haven't run / jogged for a bit (tearing the meniscus in my right knee a couple years ago and never getting it repaired kinda put the kibosh on that, though TBH it's been pain-free for awhile now :P) but I found working on my breathing to be the most important thing -
@NoTreblePoGo I use an Asus ROG 6 Pro phone and, while a lot better than all other phones I've used, it still has the odd blip even using its X Mode to kill background apps, run CPU + GPU at full tilt, so there's pretty much no 100% guarantee from a hardware perspective, at least on Android...

PvP Tips #11: Time Awareness
What are your thoughts on 30 seconds switch timer? How about 45 seconds?

@Mathmagic10 30 was fun but just too chaotic when we had it that one time and led to DD being rather OP with Psycho-and-dip; I feel like 45 could be a good compromise though.
@PoGoKieng@NianticLabs Actually it almost certainly cost me a lot more than that because after the first two times I was playing so tilted I was playing like crap too :P
@PoGoKieng@NianticLabs This happened to me 7 (!) times today, but 3 of those were losses anyway so it "only" cost me 4 wins (so probably something like ~110 ELO swing). I did get 200 coins from support but I'd much rather they just fix the game...
@PoGoKieng @fitbit I use a FitBit; it can / does work with Adventure Sync but you need to use a third-party app to force your FitBit data to sync with Google Fit, such as https://t.co/lZBz99Ud1U .
@PoGoKieng I'm fine with a take-it-easy season to get at least the worst bugs fixed. We should still get some move changes from our comm days this season as well unless they're all rehashes of prior ones, so the metas could get see shakeups anyhow if anything similar to Spheal day...
@PoGoKieng@hsineerg @DragOns1lkTL40 Currently 126 of 73115 (1 in ~580), seems pretty good considering I'm so awful at actually doing my lucky trades. :P
