One 14-year-old boy lies fatally injured on the ground below after falling from the elevated structure. The second teen, an 18-year-old, remains critically hanging onto the subway rails above, before being rescued.
The incident occurred Friday evening, May 22, 2026, resulting in the death of the younger teen at the scene and leaving the older one in critical condition. NYPD and emergency services responded swiftly to the location near the Williamsburg Bridge.
