Germans know better: There’s a mandatory measles vaccination for kindergarten and school, and since Germany has compulsory school attendance — with exceptions being extremely rare — there’s effectively a mandatory vaccination for everyone during a very specific, highly vulnerable period of life. And since there’s no longer a standalone measles vaccine available, every single German citizen is subject to a mandatory MMR or MMRV combination vaccine.
