@SwiftOnSecurity You purchase ancient hardware you get ancient hardware power draw. Minimal recommendation for homelab gear these days is PowerEdge Rx30s, with an emphasis on Rx40s. You can get Rx40s for >$1,000 if you look around enough.

@draginol @thurrott Below is an example of what I managed to accomplish. I imagine with the right packages, you can effectively turn 11 back into 10, while still getting security updates. Don't know how long or effective it would be, but it's possible.

@draginol @thurrott It's actually easier. If you know how to work with PowerShell, AppX Packages, Capabilities, DISM, and the right packages, you can effectively strip out so much of Windows 11 it reverts back to Windows 10 (old Taskbar, Task Manager, Modern Settings showing old Settings, etc)
