@2ManyStripes I personally wouldn’t do it to my pets, but not really abuse when done correctly. Just like S/N, it’s usually not a medically required surgery, but done for convenience or harm prevention. Breed standards exist and a lot of passionate owners choose to adhere to those by docking.

@2ManyStripes I feel that there’s nothing wrong with choosing to keep your pets intact as long as you’re a responsible owner. Genuinely curious what is dangerous about not doing it when there’s a significant amount of pros to it, there’s pros and cons to anything. Would love to hear your side!

@2ManyStripes I mean not really, they’re all just that- opinions. Nothing on the list is abuse, they’re just differing opinions. Nothing on this list is ‘dangerous’ aside from labeling all bullies as aggro. Bullies can be predisposed to aggression due to genetics but are not inherently aggro.
