I haven’t tweeted in forever, but I learned just now of the death of @gregorykhillis. He was a fine man and spoke with me several times about Thomas Merton. I found his writings and reflections terribly helpful.
May perpetual light shine upon him. May the Lord hold his family.
This also makes me think of my friend @ndydlln who passed almost three years ago. He was another excellent man that was taken far too soon by cancer. Sometimes I come back to Twitter only to read through our conversations and messages.
@TheScottHancock@Joeinblack@cannephillips Why wasn’t every bit of care extended so that the baby had a chance of survival? Probably money.
And this case does t sound like yours. The fetal heartbeat was still there when she went to the hospital.
@TheScottHancock@Joeinblack@cannephillips You mean the woman that delivered a 21 week old fetus at home and then flushed the remains down the toilet? She’s being charged for abuse of a corpse. Not for a miscarriage.
I want to know why she wasn’t kept at the hospital and monitored while she wa in a vulnerable state
@TheScottHancock@Joeinblack@cannephillips You used the word ‘disingenuous’. So you will recognize that what you tragically experienced isn’t a situation that people opposed to elective abortion object to, nor are they a sizable percentage of the abortions carried out each day.
@ichthys30 @JosephJKash@rightscholar Because the internet makes money off controversy. Because bad actors make money off of promoting controversy. Because there is no right or wrong in 2023 AD, there is only clicks. We have no other way of valuing things.
@drantbradley Even universalists would say you should still strive to be Holy. You should still repent and live in accordance with natural law. You should still preach the gospel at all times, and when you must, use words to do so.
These aren’t mutually exclusive categories.
