The Buddhas of Bamyan were two 6th-century monumental statues of Gautama Buddha carved into the side of a cliff in the Bamyan valley in the Hazarajat region of central Afghanistan.

Try as i may, i never cease to be amazed by my dharma. Nestled in central Vietnam are a cluster of paritally ruined temples dedicated primarily to Shiva. This cluster (Mỹ Sơn) are a UNESCO World Heritage site. Some of thse temples are from the 4th century C.E.!! Unbelivable.!
