I don't believe there was any paid agenda, social media gets people paid, even those who don't make many love the dopamine rush likes and comments give them. It was an easy way to grab attention to get money and likes, they simply took an easy opportunity.
I didn't even take the agenda seriously at first, until it got to the point where they started using AI-generated videos to push an agenda against Argentina and Messi, and they're getting millions of engagements on X. It's just crazy.
Now that the World Cup has ended, I've noticed that the followers they gained by spreading false information about Argentina and Messi have made them keep posting more nonsense about Messi just to retain that audience. Without that agenda, they'd lose all the brain dead followers who only followed them because of it.
