Inventor of the six-string contrabass guitar, Anthony expanded not only the range of the bass, but the possibilities of modern music itself. His artistry, humility, and relentless pursuit of excellence inspired generations of players.

Thank you, Anthony, for teaching us that the deepest notes can carry the most profound truth. Your groove will never fade.
