@9_coming@SovietBukharin@gelbooru I guess it is as safe as unblocking IPTV stuff or cineblog or whatever, so unless you promote it or share the contents around it will be fine
@digitalfoundry You are spineless. I hate DLSS 5 and even i am saying that, for you to literally say that you will now wait for public opinions first before publishing yours it means that you have absolutely no backbone and we cannot trust ANYTHING you guys say.
@auspiceantique@BrodieOnLinux Though i agree that it will get better, considering the transformer model was a pretty big jump over the CNN one. Frame Gen in my opinion is still basically unusable even when i was getting 100+ fps on a 5070Ti system in DL The Beast (also my clients all hate it)
@auspiceantique@BrodieOnLinux "No game requires the heaviest RT settings yet" but that makes it have even more artefacting, also yeah no shit it can do 60 if you lower all the settings, and yes if the game is technically competent it can get 60 fps native but those are pretty rare (Doom TDA and maybe AW2)
@auspiceantique@BrodieOnLinux Considering raytracing normally requires you to enable DLSS to get 60 fps or more, while yes it is technically superior the output image looks horrible with boiling, blurriness and artefacting (yes even with the transformer model). Obviously on 500+$ GPUs it is another story
@NearestCommit@DCFUKSURMOM Lmfao how do you even get that wrong, it uses UE5 since UE5.1 dropped man... And other than on consoles it is not optimized AT ALL since the day it released, it still has extreme shader comp stutter and streaming stutter and also just runs bad compared to ps5 with similar spec hw
@tomtom2151@boykimma@shifted_studios@DreadyBear@PeterP_1985 Yeah FSR 1 isn't good, but i unironically prefer how it looks compared to a 1080p output with dlss 4 at 720p internal res, it just has so much more ghosting and smearing even though normally 720p dlss vs 900p of any kind of TAA is more favorable towards the dlss picture
@tomtom2151@boykimma@shifted_studios@DreadyBear@PeterP_1985 And on consoles it just runs a lot better so yeah obviously they're not complaining much, though yes it does drop under 60 on that too but compared to the average gaming pc it is quite a bit smoother overall
