Perbedaan yang sangat jelas dari Chelsea 2012. Arsenal sistem bertahannya murni bertahan dan menunggu, pemain PSG leluasa menguasai passing 1 pemain bisa pegang bola 3-4 detik. Mengirit stamina dipakai buat bertahan, tapi habis dipakai untuk serangan balik.

Sementara Chelsea 2012 bertahan dengan transisi ada upaya pressing merebut dan menghalau bola. Catenaccio dari Di Matteo sangat sulit diterapkan pada era sekarang, mungkin tidak bisa lagi.
