Took me a while to realize it wasn't my eyes going bad, just bad photo manipulation that caused the doubling of "New York" on this jersey. Just as Topps copied a 1989 Fleer error, maybe Panini is (quietly) copying the 1955 US Mint with a 23/24 Optic doubled die Bogdanovic?

Another fail by @PaniniAmerica, can't imagine why collectors hate you! You dont even hide the disinterest from customers that feel screwed. The Panini "remedy" costs victims even more $ to fix, by design. Panini should be ashamed (but won't care). Put some pride into your work.

Anyone willing to share their thoughts on 2024 Bowman Baseball? I went with blasters, as hobby boxes are $300 & packs around $15 - too high for this product. Not really sure the reason, but I've found opening them less enjoyable than previous years. Your thoughts? @CardPurchaser

Anybody else open a box of 2024 Heritage Mini & find there was an extra pack? Didn't realize while opening, but had 13 wrappers from a 12 pack box when done! I'm used to the Topps screw job, not the rare Topps bonus! No big pulls, but still feels like a victory! @CardPurchaser

@truthtellernobs @CardPurchaser Great card, best of luck! Top to bottom centering is probably 55/45. However, based on what I've seen, PSA grades Prizm very inconsistently. Assuming there aren't flaws not visible in photo (surface scratches are top loader?), I'd bet it comes back graded mint 9, possibly gem 10.

Always chuckle when a business sends out an email with errors like the one below. @HasbroPulse calling something limited "addition" as opposed to "edition." Didn't read the email before spouting off, I'd feel foolish if it's a clever pitch for a math collectible. @CardPurchaser

We bought a bunch of 2017 @UpperDeck Grandeur Hockey Coin boxes from @dacardworld in November, for a very fair price. Most are for our new #RepackRips Premium Hockey boxes (release date TBD). A few boxes were loose & we've sporadically been opening those. Today, we beat the odds!

@Stass04 @ArthurBaitson Definitely possible, wouldn't argue with that. The guy clearly isn't a brain surgeon & he might be a bad seller. I just felt it wasn't fair to publicly convict him as such, or say he's bad for the hobby with only the limited knowledge I had.

@Brapples_ @CardPurchaser I wouldn't grade, I think 8 is optimistic. Vintage stock is so tough. I've got back 6 & 7's on cards i thought were 10s. Looks like registration is a bit off. I also see minor printing dots throughout the surface. Great centering & eye appeal, looks great if not under scrutiny.

Although I don't know enough to say something shady occurred here, I'm happy a discussion is taking place in hopes of protecting the hobby and our investments in it. There's certainly no shortage of bad people in sports cards.

As I said, my conclusion was based on the assumption that he doesn’t have a concerning history. I'd imagine others have info I don't have, leading them to a different conclusion.

@ArthurBaitson @santiagosports_ I don't think that's a strong argument that he intentionally did anything wrong. If you're saying he lacks integrity based on what we know about his possession of the stolen cards, I'd have to disagree, as it's mostly based on speculation...
