As co-creators of International #RepairDay, we were excited about the creation of London Repair Week a couple of years ago to coincide.
We absolutely need a London Repair Week, but one with integrity. It needs financial support from the Mayor and the public sector.
Printers are the archetype of #PrematureObsolescence.
Yet, instead of regulating to make them more repairable & longer lasting, @EU_Commission is delaying & risks agreeing to a weak industry agreement 🖨️

Ohh, @RepairData is excellent if you're interested in reparability. We're poking through the data now. Here, for example, are the top ten brands in terms of percent of successful repairs at Repair Cafe events:
To those celebrating #OpenDataDay, keep an eye out for a new citizen science activity from @restartproject in April. They'll be diving into our data on vacuum repairs - and you can help, even by volunteering only a couple of minutes!
Want to contribute repair data?
If you're with a community repair organisation (e.g. you organise Repair Cafes or similar events), we invite you to share your data with us, the Open Repair Alliance.

#OpenDataDay
We updated our Open Repair Data Standard (ORDS).
ORDS is what helps us pool our data together into one big #opendata set.
In v0.3 we added product ages - a key piece of policy info. Tells us how long people are willing to repair a product
