Happy #EqualityDay!
Today we celebrate the landmark Supreme Court rulings for LGBTQI+ rights in Lawrence, Windsor, & Obergefell. Every American deserves the same freedoms, rights, and responsibilities.
#EqualityDay celebrates the anniversaries of landmark LGBTQI+ victories at SCOTUS in Lawrence, Windsor, & Obergefell!
While these milestone are worth celebrating, we still have work to do to ensure our community's rights never rely on a court's ruling ever again.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, here’s a recap of the week:
1. The House passed major housing legislation – sending it to the President’s desk.
2. President Trump refused to sign this bipartisan legislation because he wants to suppress Americans’ right to vote.
3. Republican leadership sends everyone home with the job not done.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Love to see federal funding from the Northern Border Regional Commission delivered for community projects, including $175,000 for Granite State Adaptive’s facilities in Wolfeboro.
Check out this project and others happening in rural communities across our state. ⬇️

Turkey was kicked out of the F-35 program during the first Trump administration for purchasing Russian S-400 missiles, which it still possesses today. Since then Turkey has only grown more aggressive against critical American allies such as Greece and Cyprus, increased oppression of its people, and made the region even more unstable.
The law is clear: the Trump administration is required to certify to Congress that Turkey is in compliance with our laws before any sale can even be considered. We cannot reward Erdogan's government while it continues to violate U.S. law and threaten our reliable, democratic allies.
Absolutely no F-35s to Turkey.

Great to meet with Portsmouth’s Captain J.J. Hughes, a pilot with Jet Blue, and representatives with the Air Line Pilots Association!
Air safety is essential as Granite Staters use it to travel for work, fun, and family. I’m focused on that on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
Our President is a toddler. He’s refusing to sign an overwhelmingly bipartisan bill to address the housing crisis, lower construction costs, and stop Wall Street from jacking up prices – all because he wants to meddle in elections and hinder American citizens' ability to vote.
BREAKING NEWS: PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP has canceled the signing of the housing bill until Congress passes the SAVE America Act.
The stage is set in the Capitol.
House GOP leadership is literally on stage right now touting the bill.
Four years ago, the Supreme Court overturned a 50-year precedent with the Dobbs decision, cruelly stripping women of their right to make personal health care decisions.
Access to reproductive care, from abortion to contraception, remains under attack by radical politicians today. I will continue fighting to restore and protect access to abortion and all medical care.
Good luck to our Special Olympics New Hampshire team competing at the USA Games this week!
Our incredible athletes continue to make our state proud.

These are smart investments in our state that will create more good-paying jobs, help our communities, and invest in our future.
I’ll always support projects that grow our local economy and improve quality of life for Granite Staters.

The opening of Avery Lane means 95 more units of affordable housing for residents in need of a safe, affordable place to live.
I was thrilled to join the many community leaders, partners, and supporters who made this happen for the ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning.
Happy birthday to the great Granite State!
On this day 238 years ago, New Hampshire ratified the U.S. Constitution, making it the 9th state to join the Union. I love our home and am so proud to represent New Hampshire in Congress.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures across New Hampshire and the country!
Wishing you and yours a happy and meaningful Father’s Day.
Happy Juneteenth!
Today we commemorate the end of slavery in America. It is a reminder of the hard-fought progress we’ve made and of our ongoing work and responsibility to build a more perfect union for all.
Grateful to join the New Hampshire Alliance for Healthy Aging this morning to talk about issues impacting older Granite Staters .
It’s even harder right now to live on a fixed income, budget for essentials, and have the stability to retire. I will continue fighting for the aging community and to ensure they can live in security, comfort, and dignity throughout our state.
Congress must fully investigate any corruption and inside trading happening in prediction markets.
Glad the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee heeded my calls to begin an investigation.

Absolutely outrageous that the President is using hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to build his pet project ballroom.
New Hampshire families continue to be forced to pay more and more of their hard-earned dollars for this administration’s bad ideas and harmful policies.
Exclusive: A detailed project summary of the ballroom prepared for the White House by a contractor estimated the total construction cost at $600 million — with more than half coming from taxpayers, according to a copy obtained by The Post. https://t.co/gHM0D7BmOg
Proud to support the Alzheimer's Screening and Prevention Act.
27,000 Granite Staters are living with Alzheimer's. We must continue to raise awareness, support individuals, families, and caregivers, and fight to advance research, treatment, and care. #ENDALZ
By cosponsoring the bipartisan #ASAPAct, @RepChrisPappas is helping us reach our “mammogram moment. Thank you for redefining Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
