@xonphused@noah_theninja Humanity because humanity is corruptible and if you don’t follow it you become more evil and easily debased and controlled by society.
@xonphused Turned people away from sin to live to your full potential.
Also, what is written is going to happen whether you believe or not. We’re not really leaving this rock until everything is done. Hope you know that.
@farmingandJesus@TheMuppetPastor@MalditoChacal@thyflameoflove No, but one thing I noticed is that Protestant churches don’t practice excommunication. If they did there would be no James Talarico, Paula whites, Kenneth Coplands, and Joel Osteens.
Excommunication can be found in Matthew 18:15–17 and 1 Corinthians 5.
@farmingandJesus@thyflameoflove I’m sure there a lot more unknown like mine, but I know many priests and nuns who genuinely have faith in Christ and I can see it manifest by their actions. Just to add.
@farmingandJesus@thyflameoflove Ngl there are only a handful of good Protestant pastors. Mine in New York, cliff, Phillip Anthony Mitchell, John MacArther(past on from us and joined with Jesus)
Sooner or later you’ll realize, Protestant, orthodox, and Catholic are all part of the same body. Faith in Jesus.
@cjdelgross@CodyLibolt@jamestalarico So you vote against scripture because he affirms and justifies sin. You relinquish the word of God at your own peril. You follow the world, not God then.
@PpollingNumbers He’s the type of ideology and theology that ruins nations. He’s the type of false teacher that is warned about all throughout the New Testament
Well I don’t acknowledge a false god. Jesus is God. Even secular scholars confirm his crucifixion of outside sources. But secular people call me Islamophobe because “race” matters when Islam isn’t a race.
Truly, truly I say to you Jesus is God and there is nothing you can do.
@TSAdedara@JaneSchulze18@AesPolitics1 My guy he twists the Bible and affirms sins. You know the Bible is against humanities desire right?
Y’all just conforming to a fallen society without even realizing you’re wrong.
@MystikDisciple@Vitus_osst Satan is easy to understand he’s nothing but a terrible condemnation in your ear telling you, you can’t. God says you can overcome, and be better. Judas and Peter are good examples. One said you are nothing, the other persevered and grew more in faith and saw him.
@MystikDisciple@Vitus_osst Satan at his core wants power, demons are following Satan against God. When you are tempted do you think it’s you own mind, or a demon on your shoulder whispering. God doesn’t tempt. But demons do.
Look at Paul in 1 Thessalonians 2
Satan hindered him.
@Vitus_osst Satan wants to control free will which is a gift from God and he hates that. That’s why he tempts. He tried to do that with Jesus in the desert, control his mind, desires come from the mind and to the heart and out of the heart comes action. Jesus is God so he can’t.
@Vitus_osst Satan goes to the source of power on the earth, demons go to regular people, tempting them. Satan is opposition to truth. Distorts it, uses debased minds. The end goal for Satan is the mind of man. If you control the mind you control free will.
