Dave Ramsey Endorses Marsha Blackburn for Governor!
I'm honored to have the endorsement of my friend, Dave Ramsey. Together, we fought to keep a state income tax out of Tennessee and protect the conservative values that have made our state the envy of the nation. As your governor, I'll continue working every day to keep taxes low, defend our values, grow our economy, and ensure Tennessee remains the best place in America to live, work, and rear a family.
Great morning in Bristol today for a town hall with Chairman Crawford. He is a good friend, chairs one of the most important committees in the General Assembly and always puts is constituents first. Grateful for his hardwork in keeping TN a low taxed and low debt state and being a strong conservative.
Couldn’t agree more @USAttyDunavant! @realDonaldTrump@StephenM and the @GOP are doing what Dems could never accomplish in Memphis. Democrats brought you crime - Republicans bring you freedom. That’s why these democrat socialist are afraid of Tennessee.
Today is the day my little girl Beka Faison joins together as one with Mali. As I was considering this holy and sacred moment, I put a few thoughts down to send to Boo. She said I could share my thoughts with you:
Good morning Boo
Today, you become one with Mali, but you will never lose your identity. You are taking him as your partner for life, but he was never meant to be the source of your fulfillment.
Mali cannot make your house a home, your heart a home, or your presence a refuge. Only the Lord can do that.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, you can become a refuge, a place of peace, and a resting place for your husband. As you draw your life, joy, and strength from Christ, those same gifts will naturally flow through you to Mali.
If you look to Mali to be the one who makes you happy, gives your soul rest, or fulfills every longing of your heart, you’ll always come up empty. God never intended for one person to carry what only He can provide.
Though the two of you become one, you still have your own identity, and that identity is found in the Lord. Your refuge, your joy, your peace, and your rest come first from Him to you, and then through you to your husband.
I love you with all my heart, and I bless you in the mighty name of Jesus.
May you experience a love deeper than you ever imagined possible. May you discover a joy that words cannot explain. May you soar through life with purpose, wisdom, and success. May you always remain humble, never forgetting the Giver of life, the Giver of love, the Way Maker, the Redeemer, and the Refuge of your soul.
I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become. Today is the beginning of a beautiful new chapter, and I can’t wait to watch all that God does in and through your marriage.
I love you forever.
This is 🎯 and has been my experience with @VoteMarsha.
She is a bold, conservative leader who has used her influence to help make TN the best state in the nation.
She will be a fantastic Governor.
Sixteen years ago, I was driving to Nashville as a brand-new State Representative.
My wife and our kids were with me, and we were all excited to see the Tennessee State Capitol for the very first time. It was one of those moments our family will never forget.
On that drive, my phone rang.
It was Congresswoman @MarshaBlackburn calling to congratulate me. She welcomed me, encouraged me, and gave me her personal cell phone number. At the time, I had no idea that simple act would become the beginning of a friendship and working relationship that has lasted for 16 years.
Since that day, I’ve called, texted, and met with Marsha more times than I can count. Whether I had a question about legislation, needed help for a constituent, or brought business leaders looking to invest in Tennessee, she has always been there. She answers the phone. She returns the text. She opens the door. That’s not something you can say about every elected official.
People ask me why I support Marsha.
Because I’ve seen who she is when the cameras aren’t rolling.
She works. She prepares. She knows the issues inside and out. She has relationships in Washington and across Tennessee that can’t be built overnight. She understands our General Assembly because she served here herself. And through it all, she’s never forgotten where she came from or who she works for.
I’ve watched her serve Tennessee for many years. That’s why she has my support, and I hope she’ll earn yours as well.
Early voting is taking place right now.
Good morning, Tennessee!
Fresh polling as early voting begins today reinforces what we already knowwe live in an incredible state with strong conservative values. Make your voice heard, get out and vote, and I hope you'll join me in supporting @VoteMarsha!!

There are so many Tennesseans who have contributed to the making of our great country over the past 250 years. We decided to highlight a few of them.
If it weren't for General Jackson's leadership at the Battle of New Orleans in 1815, the British would have captured one of the most vital port cities in the country.
As we celebrate America's 250th, we're highlighting Tennesseans who helped shape our nation's history.
Today, we recognize James K. Polk, Tennessee's 11th Governor and the 11th President of the United States. During his presidency, the United States acquired more than one million square miles of territory—dramatically expanding the nation and leaving a lasting impact on American history.
Quick review highlights this is entirely misleading and @CommunityNotes should be made aware. Grok even confirmed: FYI @RepFaison
CNBC didn’t rank Tennessee the “worst state for quality of life” overall. They ranked it #9 best for business in 2026 — but gave it last place in one small subcategory (Quality of Life, ~11.6% of the score).
• The big hit came from outdated crime data. Memphis (the main drag) saw major violent crime drop 27.6% in 2025 vs 2024, with murders down 26%. In 2026 it’s continued falling — violent crime down nearly 40% year-over-year, murders down 44%+, vehicle thefts down 54-62%. These gains are real and accelerating thanks to better policing and the federal task force.
• The rest of the low score comes from ideologically loaded metrics that reward progressive policies: expansive LGBTQ+ laws, abortion access, paid leave mandates, and union power. Tennessee’s conservative stances on parental rights, women’s sports, and limited government get penalized — even when residents clearly prefer them.
• Meanwhile, people are voting with their feet: Tennessee had the 4th highest net domestic migration in the country recently. Low taxes, job growth, and affordability keep attracting newcomers.
• Bottom line: This is stale data + left-leaning policy preferences dressed up as an objective ranking. Tennessee’s actual results on safety, economy, and migration tell a very different story.
@LeadingReport@CraigGrafx Tennessee spent June celebrating the nuclear family… and it looks like that really soured @CNBC’s day.
The irony? 8 of their ‘top 10’ states are hemorrhaging residents.
Home sweet home to me!
Awesome crowd in DeKalb County for our second stop of the day! We need more Tennessee in DC to stop communists like @IlhanMN from ruining our country, and ensure that @realdonaldtrump has the back up needed to SAVE AMERICA.
TDOT is mourning the loss of Cathy Sims, a 19-year employee who was killed in an accident in Haywood County earlier this week.
We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support for the Sims family and Cathy’s TDOT colleagues from @GovBillLee, the public, and other Tennessee state departments.
We greatly appreciate Governor Lee’s directive to fly flags at the State Capitol at half-staff in remembrance of Cathy.
Cathy Sims becomes the 114th TDOT employee who died in the line of duty since 1948. Cathy’s name will be added to the TDOT memorial marker in Smith County.
“Here in Tennessee, Republicans have been on the frontlines of this fight for years, standing firm against radical gender experiments on children, defending biological truth and putting the safety and well-being of kids first. Our state didn’t just resist the madness; we led the effort that helped turn the tide.” @repmarkcochran

The I 40 bridge over Douglas Lake is truly iconic and beautiful.
Naming the bridge was my honor and I explained why the bridge is named after @realDonaldTrump at the sign unveiling.
Just in case you were wondering… my buddy Crawfish (John Crawford) will be back in Nashville representing Tennessee’s House District 1.
It did my heart good today to see how well liked he is. Crawfish will continue the excellent job he’s been doing at our State Capitol.
Thank you @SecScottBessent for the visit to God’s Country. Your boss is a rugged individual with a passion to preserve our great country. We are grateful you are on his team!
It was an honor to join the official unveiling of the President Donald J. Trump Bridge along Interstate 40 in Dandridge, Tennessee with @MarshaBlackburn, @timburchett, @RepFaison, and members of the Trump family, including Elizabeth and Ann Marie.
When Tennesseans sent @POTUS back to Washington with the largest mandate in state history, they knew the promise of his pro-growth agenda because its principles have driven people there in droves. In many ways, Tennessee embodies the best of what President Trump is building nationally as we place American workers, manufacturers, and families back at the core of our policies where they belong.
ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨:
I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association.
"The TPFFA encourages endorsement of our friends in politics from all parties who stand with us and are willing to listen to their firefighters on issues that impact their health and safety... On behalf of the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association, it is my pleasure to notify Kenny Cody of our membership's decision to endorse his candidacy for the Tennessee House of Representatives. We wish him every success in the coming election."
I've made strengthening civil service & public safety a focal point of this campaign, and I promise to stand with our firefighters across HD11 and the state who put their lives on the line. I'm honored by their endorsement, and I look forward to advocating for them at the state level. 🇺🇸 #VoteKennyCody2026 #EnergyAndEffort
