25 years ago, I was awakened by a phone call from Jacki, telling me to turn on the TV. As I did, I saw the image of the plane flying into one of the twin towers. The Pentagon had been hit as well. Later on we would learn about the heroic efforts of the passengers on United flight 93. This truly became one of those days that you remember where you were and what you were doing at the time of the tragedy. 

Let us never forget those who lost their lives, innocent people who lost their lives, and those who sacrificed their own lives trying to save so many others.
