My sincere gratitude for Representative Charlie Conrad and Representative Lisa Reynolds for their support, and thank you to the Pacific Northwest Chapter of AG Bell and the Oregon Academy of Audiology for their strong work!

As a pediatric dentist, I know that access to critical services and medically appropriate care is key to making sure all kids have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
This week, Iβm in Salem to hear about the issues that matter most to Oregonians. From the economy to the addiction crisis, these are important issues that I am committed to preparing for in the 2024 Legislative Session.
You can tune in by visiting the link in my bio.
And, I am appreciative of my colleagues in the legislature for continuing to prioritize this funding for our refugee and asylee communities as they seek to create better lives for their families here in Oregon.

I am immensely grateful for the work of Senator Jama and his team for establishing the Office of Refugee and Immigrant Advancement last year to make this all happen.
My team is actively working on rescheduling this event, so please stay tuned for more details on social media and through my newsletter.
Thank you all for your understanding. If you have further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to my office.
As your state representative, I looked forward to chatting with constituents and sharing updates about the 2024 short session.
Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict with a legislative event that day, my town hall next week will be canceled.
Today, we will never forget the lives lost on 9/11, 22 years ago.
Whether they were civilians, first responders, or service members, so many sacrificed their lives to protect others. We honor and remember those sacrifices today and never forget.
I look forward to continuing discussions on how to maintain and expand these critical services to areas across the state so that our food insecure children and families get the support they need.

Thank you, Congresswoman Salinas for hosting an expert panel discussion today at Chemeketa to discuss the impact of SNAP benefit requirements on Oregonians.
As a pediatric dentist, I see so many children from low-income families who would benefit from better access to fresh, nutritious food. I myself am familiar with the impact food banks have had to keep our families afloat on groceries when they have spent their SNAP benefits.
