It's National Women’s Health Week. Women often put the needs of others before their own. This observance is to remind you to make your physical, mental, social, and emotional health a priority.
Our nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system, taking care of us at every stage of our lives. It’s my honor to fight in Harrisburg and in Lancaster for folks who are fighting for us in delivery rooms, in hospice hallways and in and out of heart surgery.
Yesterday the PA House of Representatives took a step toward decriminalizing homelessness in Pennsylvania by my Shelter First Act (H.B. 2028) out of the House Judiciary Committee on Monday. It now moves to the full House for consideration.
