Proud to announce that HB 845 has officially been signed by Gov. Kemp. Grateful to my House & Senate colleagues and to the Governor for supporting this crucial step forward. In a transparent government, sunlight isn’t just a metaphor—it’s safeguard.

Happy Easter from my family to yours.
Easter is a reminder to me that renewal is not just a season, but a calling—and there’s no better place to live that out than right here in my hometown.
I’m humbled by the opportunity to serve the community I love.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Cobb Republican Women's Luncheon today to deliver positive news from the recently completed 2025 Legislative Session.
I’m proud to announce that House Bill 845—legislation I sponsored to establish an internal auditor for the Cherokee County Board of Education—has passed in the Georgia House!
This bill is a big step toward greater accountability and trust in our school system.
Honored to stand with U.S. Rep. Rich McCormick as he calls for bipartisan solutions to today’s challenges and I proudly join him in the fight to preserve liberty because, in the Congressman’s words…
"The government is not the answer to everything.” 🇺🇸

HB 186 UNANIMOUSLY passed the GA House today. It's a common sense update to GA law so that, upon the death of an owner of a motor vehicle, an immediate family member who receives the vehicle would NOT be subject to a state title ad valorem tax fee. Off to the Senate.
One step closer to a BIG WIN for transparency in GA. Proud to announce that HB 163 officially passed in the House! This legislation ensures that when you eat out, you’ll know exactly what kind of meat is on your plate.

Easing the burden of higher costs on GA families is one of my top priorities. I’m committed to delivering REAL financial relief, which is why I strongly support a state income tax reduction and multiple initiatives, currently under consideration, aimed at lowering taxes.
🇺🇸 On Presidents’ Day, we reflect upon the enduring principles of liberty, perseverance and service that guide our nation. These values are not only the cornerstone of our country's leadership, but also resonate deeply within our state's heritage. Happy Presidents’ Day! 🇺🇸
Mark your calendars for Tuesday 2/11 and meet me with Cherokee County Commissioner Benny Carter as we discuss what’s happening in our community and across Georgia. 👍
Send ahead any questions or comments & I’ll be happy to answer during the Town Hall.
It was my distinct honor to welcome Fr. Ben Day, Rector of Christ Episcopal Kennesaw, as Chaplain of the Day for the Georgia House of Representatives.
Fr. Ben’s words service and sacrifice rang true throughout the chamber.

Today I took the oath of office for my 2nd term as State Rep for GA HD 22. This moment was a powerful reminder of the trust placed in me and I’m deeply grateful. I promised to remain a real representative with real solutions, and that promise remains steadfast. Let’s get to work!
Couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who braved the cold to join our Town Hall. From the budget, taxes, transportation, K-12 education & parental rights to code revision & occupational licensing - your voices were heard loud & clear. #townhall

Today, we pause to remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We will never forget the bravery of the first responders who rushed toward danger, the resilience of the American spirit, and the unity that emerged. God bless the USA.
Great day at the Georgia Recovers Celebration in Canton! Proud to support efforts to combat addiction and uplift our community. Big thanks to Senator Kay Kirkpatrick and The Recovery Organization of Cherokee County for their leadership in Cherokee County.
