@rockerskating Do they have to sit one season out or can they compete immediately? Marjorie has represented Canada before so no change of country. Jean-Luc has been away for a couple of seasons. Should be permitted to compete immediately, right?
@lutzofice She is a very good dancer on and off the ice and can dance many styles. That is what we are missing nowadays. Ice dancers are not forced to learn latin, samba, waltz etc. They can choose more freely and often choose something they have done before and feel comfortable with.
@cafebourgeois There are so many musics to choose from. Why do they keep picking the same ones? It might be first time for them but we have heard it so many times. People and judges also remember the most iconic ones and compare to those. Not maybe beneficial.
@lesyeuxdenica They need more polished leg lines and wider skating (like Maddie). Her ankles sometimes seem a bit stiff and that affects the lines they create. Her posture is great and arm movements exquisite.
@yuzuruluviee They might not have an education because all they have done is skating. It is hard to go to school when you are many years older than others and how do you even know what do you want to study or do for work when all you know is skating.
The International Skating Union (ISU) has granted Finland the right to host the Grand Prix series of figure skating. The Finlandia Trophy Helsinki will be held on 20-21 November 2026 at the Helsinki Ice Hall
