What is happening in Beawar, Rajasthan?

Villagers in Sarkana village, Beawar district, have been protesting against the Shree Cement factory for nine days, alleging that pollution is affecting their land, air, water, farms and families.

Villagers say their wells and ponds are polluted, agricultural land has been affected, and several residents, including children, are facing health problems.

They are demanding relocation of the village and compensation for the alleged loss of farmland and livestock over the past 40 years.

The protesters say they will continue their agitation until they get justice.

सोमवार को जयपुर के झाड़खंड महादेव मंदिर दर्शन के लिए गई। मंदिर में हर सुविधा की व्यवस्था काफ़ी अच्छी है, बस श्रद्धालुओं की और सुविधा के लिए नगर निगम से एक छोटा सा सुझाव।

बाहर से आने वाले भक्तों की भीड़ को देखते हुए, अगर रास्ते में थोड़ी थोड़ी दूरी पर कचरा डिपो लगा दिए जाएँ, तो सफ़ाई और भी बेहतर हो सकती है।

यह छोटी सी पहल न स���र्फ़ श्रद्धालुओं के लिए सुविधाजनक होगी, बल्कि जयपुर के धार्मिक स्थलों की साफ सफ़ाई के लिए एक मिसाल भी बनेगी।
