@b4tty for the record, don't take this as medical information to parrot to others, im self taught and have a lot of experience from self-harm and biology classes.
just-
to be completely honest
it's a Twitter comment, im not gonna find and link sources unless it'd help someone
@b4tty beans is the fat tissue under your skin
it's a *tissue*, multiple cells grouping together for a purpose
the beans under your skin aren't pockets of fat, it's multiple human fat cells essentially, and those all individually have fat
it would be squishy and soft; maybe crunchy
@lilly231778 If you're talking about scar removal, there are various things you can do. There's topical creams that shrink or lighten scars. There's injections that can add to depressed scars or make keloids(raised) smaller.
You can get surgery that acts as a skin graft or moving the scar.
@lilly231778@IfPutinWasThin this was sweet of you to reply
thank you for backing me up <3
if you ever not care or if i miss the point of your posts you can tell me though
i don't mean to give help or advice if you don't want it
@Encytur3 If you end up using something sharp to open it up and you use too much force, be wary of sharp bits breaking off and flying at your face and eyes. Not that it matters all too much usually, just be careful doing diy stuff <3
@Encytur3 I used to use dull knives and scissors. Something like a steak knife, butter knife, safety scissors, or even Other Blades can open up those screws.
It is helpful to learn ways to unscrew bullshit just... for life lol
at least if you're never gonna get a screwdriver and bits
@togemi121 It depends on the location and the genetics. Some people's skin are more prone to not detecting of a cut is healed fully or not, and can create a surplus of materials in the area. Some places in the body have a higher skin tension and are more likely to become keloid there.
@netzach428573 I remember streaming a t apollyon run to my friend and finding spindown in a secret room and immediately abyssing it to piss her off lol
I win the run with like no items and default damage with a FUCK ton of locusts
@kimoderee I canโt write a flirty or vulgar comment on a post about self-harm scars. If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available at 988.
@DammitDaivi I think this is just something that's kinda true
Especially when you see people with Twitter Blue ragebaiting or having awful takes, it's for engagement or pushed up by the algorithm also for engagement
could also just be pushed up because it's transphobic, no clue about that
@angelxphilia Let me say, just in case this reply is read, if a substance has a high bio-availability, the dosage of the pill is generally set understanding that most of it would enter the bloodstream. If you want to get higher, take more or start mixing stuff. Do research before it to be safe
@angelxphilia I don't have experience with benzos, but typically taking a pill meant to be taken orally wouldn't do much if you took it in another way like snorting it. Generally, pill dosages are meant to get absorbed by the body in full, to my understanding.
@x4nax_consumer When the wound starts to scab over and isn't as deep, you can apply an antibiotic like Neosporin to the gauze before you apply it. It'll improve the environment in the bandage to make you heal better.
If you're afraid of scarring after, apply a scar cream.
@x4nax_consumer I think I'm a few days late so stitches absolutely aren't an option anymore, and I think so are butterfly bandages at this point? You could try them though.
I suggest just putting a new gauze pad on the wound every 1-2 days; taping it on with medical tape.
@lennonsfawn Parents didn't do anything
When I lived with my dad I would cut in front of him
He didn't care as long as I acted like I was hiding it at least a little bit
I did it a lot
