. @Thiesfeldt , @repschraa & @RepRamthun sent a letter to SSM Health asking about SSM's COVID vax mandate. Policy has "led many employees to quit their jobs and many more are soon likely to be terminated from their positions." https://t.co/NuehdAwrVH #wiright#wipolitics
Very impressed with @Jim_Jordan & @chairmang today! Fun to hear their war stories about life in DC and the senseless liberals that make mistake after mistake. Amazing how much better Trump was doing compared to current @POTUS .
“With the upcoming WEC vote on September 9th to allow voting tabulator manufacturer ES&S access to voting machines to perform upgrades, we’re gravely concerned about the possibility of further loss of data and records." - @RepJanel and @RepRamthun#wiright#wipolitics
I want to thank everyone who came to my first budget listening session of the year yesterday with @RepRamthun and @SenStroebel. It was great to hear from so many engaged constituents.
Happy National Agriculture Day! A big thank you to all our farmers, who do the work to put food in our grocery stores and on our tables. No farms, no food!
Happy 184th Birthday to the WI National Guard! Its members selflessly serve their communities and their state, always ready when crisis arises. A big thank you to each and every WI National Guard member, your state greatly appreciates you and your service!
Happy Presidents' Day! Here's a quote from one of my favorite presidents:
"Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our responsibility for the future." -JFK
During National School Choice Week, we celebrate the tremendous opportunities school choice gives to students across WI. I will always support school choice, as it prioritizes the students above all else!
Today, we honor the life and legacy of one of America's greatest figures, Martin Luther King Jr. Today, I pray that his message of unity will continue to guide us as a nation through times of both triumph and tribulation.
"December 7th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy..." -FDR
79 years ago, the US was attacked by Imperial Japan, and 2,335 Americans lost their lives as a result. Today, we remember those who gave their lives serving their country that day, and we honor their sacrifice.
Freedom is never free, it is won by those willing to sacrifice to secure it for others. The men and women who serve in our nation's Armed Forces do so with honor, courage, and bravery. They are more than worthy of our gratitude and appreciation. Happy Veteran's Day!
The courageous sailors of the US Navy keep the seas safe both at home and abroad.
They are an absolutely critical part of our Armed Forces, and today, we celebrate the creation of their branch.
Happy 245th Birthday to the USN! "Semper Fortis!"
Not all the brave men and women of our Armed Forces come home from overseas, and many suffer through traumatic experiences during their service.
Today, we remember those who were held captive during times of war, and those who remain missing to this day.
You are not forgotten.
I authored a bill with @RepRamthun to help collect some of the estimated 30,000 gallons of expired or unwanted foam in Wisconsin, but as the session hit a halt from COVID-19, it failed to pass. I hope to readdress this issue next session. https://t.co/ggKS7B4Ges
@keldahelenroys The situation itself wasn't even visible from the police line, and I stayed 20 mins at most, so I'd advise you not to comment on situations you clearly know nothing about. It's beyond shameful and irresponsible to take a tragedy and use it for a partisan attack. (2/2)
@keldahelenroys Absolutely ridiculous lie. I went to observe a police response to an emergency within my district in order to get accurate information out to my constituents so they could avoid the area. Not "to watch a man die in person". Same thing media does when there's an emergency. (1/2)
