Here is evidence of the Python coding in action in DT. Once coded the pupils then printed off their coded poppies so that they could create some wreaths. Great to see our theme permeating in all the circus activities today @ReptonLearning
Our B Block enrichment day also very much in evidence in IT with the pupils using programming code to create poppies. Fantastic to see them developing their skills & linking to our theme for the day. Resilience certainly being tested by some complicated coding! @ReptonLearning
Some amazing work going on in the @ReptonArt department. B Block creating soil & barbed wire. A great group work activity with lots of collaboration. Thrilled to see them all engaging so positively with this fantastic project. Cannot wait to see the end product! @ReptonLearning
In @ReptonDesign the B Block have been making these incredible acrylic poppies. They were working towards making 355 of these. These we will now plant outside the Chapel as a fitting memorial of those 355 OR’s who lost their lives in WWI. A useful lesson too on batch production!
B Block moved to their circus activities after break. In drama they were involved in creating “Poppy plays”. These allowed for cross curricular exploration of our theme on Remembrance & were a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to consider their own reflections @ReptonLearning
