18 Black Terns reported this morning (KP).
1st summer Mediterranean Gull on west bank of north basin at 0930.

2 Little Terns still at 1330. One on each basin when I left. (alighting on westbank of north basin occasionally).
10+ Black Terns over both basins...difficult to count among hundreds of Swifts.
Plus Oystercatcher & Common Sandpiper.

Standing on the causeway looking at tiny dots in the distance that were Little Gulls on the south basin, wishing one would come closer. I turn around and one is right behind me on the north basin point blank. Winning!! Staines Res
