मुख्यमंत्री @myogiadityanath जी ने आज लखनऊ में चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग, चिकित्सा शिक्षा विभाग तथा विभिन्न विशेषज्ञों के साथ एक उच्चस्तरीय बैठक में उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य कैंसर टास्क फोर्स एवं उत्तर प्रदेश ट्रॉमा एवं इमरजेंसी नेटवर्क (UPTEN) की कार्ययोजनाओं की समीक्षा की।

मुख्यमंत्री जी ने निर्देश दिए कि प्रदेश के प्रत्येक जनपद में चरणबद्ध रूप से कैंसर उपचार सुविधाओं का विकास किया जाए तथा प्रत्येक मंडल में आधुनिक कैंसर केंद्र स्थापित किए जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि कैंसर की रोकथाम, समयबद्ध स्क्रीनिंग, शीघ्र निदान एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण उपचार पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए।

On the occasion of World Hypertension Day, the Department of CMFM organized a special workshop for Community Health Officers (CHOs) of Gorakhpur district, aimed at strengthening systems for the timely detection, treatment, counseling, and referral of hypertension cases.

Addressing the gathering, Maj. Gen. (Dr.) Vibha Dutta emphasized that health is our greatest asset and the foundation for progress in every sphere of life. She highlighted that hypertension has emerged as a “Silent Killer” in modern times, often remaining undetected for years while gradually leading to serious conditions such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease.

The workshop reinforced the importance of strengthening primary healthcare systems and empowering frontline health workers to combat the growing burden of non-communicable diseases through preventive care and timely intervention.
