@people But I just have been chalking it up to being stressed and panicky for months on end. It wasn’t until last night that I thought I may have been having a heart attack. I don’t know if I am… but I made a pcp appt. Which I hate doing b/c of fear. And then I see this, this morning!
@people I’m extraordinarily grateful for your vitality and staying alive. Thank you for sharing. It’s so odd. I am 36-years/old, granted with anorexia, but my heart has as of yet been unaffected. The past two days (even today) I feel off. Yesterday was short of breath and my chest hurt.
Thank you @abbyellin for penning this. I am turning 35 years old on Tuesday and still have what is considered ‘severe anorexia.’ It’s not lost on me. I appreciate the Brennan’s inclusion- my therapist gave up on me. I texted him her quotation.
Compelled to inform you that @lululemon (I have almost zero familiarity with aside from gifting my LuLu-obsessed aunt) just provided me w/ the most awesome “product specialist” located on Canada’s East Coast: Have a whole new perspective on the neighboring country and the brand.
nobody will remember:
- your salary
- how “busy you were”
- how many hours you worked
people will remember:
- that you were a New Yorker
- how you pronounced "Houston"
- the speed you walked down the street

@knguyenpoetry I literally have applied and underwent rounds of interviews, edit exams, and writing exams only to be rejected for years. Sometimes I feel like I have give up and other times, like I have been blacklisted b/c I have applied multiple times to publishing houses.
@theDrybar Hey @theDrybar - remember my tweet about loving your double shot blow dryer? Well, I still love it for my curly hair. The only thing is I just purchased it end of July, about 2 months ago, and the bristles have flattened so now my hair becomes frizzy and curly. Any solution?
@sarahschulman3 Would love to apply, however, as someone who has struggled to enter the writing- journalism field, and has been out of school for years, letters of recommendation are difficult to acquire…
Why is it that I get low-key jealous when I see others post photos/videos of their personal training sessions despite having invested in a personal trainer myself and experiencing the infamous leg-day just this morning? A reminder that social media can be toxic.
