Well hello there anon 👋

I've always held back from spamming all over X, but it's 2024, and I want to better connect with those of you in the space, so here goes.

I'm Rory, a lifetime startup addict and degen gamer heading up @ClashedGame - Let’s start with how I landed here👇

For nearly 10 years, I've been building companies either for myself or in growth/product roles at VC-backed entities (YC). It's been a crazy time, and I love the grey hair I've already developed despite being under 30...

But for real, nothing gets you up in the morning than growth. Builders gunna build is certainly true.

I've now been full-time in the Web 3 space for three years across various B2C and B2B companies, namely @flarexyz_ and @zeta_io, yet I'm still learning unlimited amounts to this day.

There's nothing like this space, with its highs, lows, communities, and huge scope for opportunities. Speaking of opportunities, heard of crypto gaming?

The industry is ripe for innovation, genuinely. We all know there's a long route back in public perception after the 2021/2 scam cycles, but it's coming.

That's why I joined the team to build @ClashedGame. We're building a gaming platform where you can play our in-house developed games that actually focus on a strong core gameplay loop and fun, alongside the rewards. Yes, 5+ games are already developed, thanks to our parent company Winkel Games, as many of you experienced in our recent Alpha!

The opportunity for Clashed in crypto is clear enough: where else can you safely wager and compete against other players in skill-based games where the outcome is solely decided by your ability, not luck, e.g. Chess, all whilst earning crypto rewards.
