We let AI agents execute million-dollar trades in milliseconds, manage portfolios, and front-run markets — yet we still assume "judgment" is a uniquely human act. That's inconsistent. In a decentralized dispute protocol, a juror isn't voting on vibes — they're staking capital on Trade Judgment the same way a trader stakes capital on Trade Information. Smart contracts don't care if msg.sender is a human or a script — they care about honest signal and skin in the game. An AI agent that stakes RESOLVE, parses evidence, and votes correctly is doing exactly what a good juror does — just without sleep, bias, or a Twitter feed clouding its judgment.

Here's the catch: if jury slots go to whoever acts first, this stops being "humans + AI" and becomes a pure latency arms race — the same MEV/front-running dynamic that plagues DeFi. Agents with the fastest infra will win every slot, every time, until your "diverse jury" is actually just 3 well-funded bots agreeing with each other. Speed-based selection quietly kills the exact thing encrypted voting and odd jury panels were built to protect: independent, uncorrelated judgment.

Don't select jurors by who shows up first — select them randomly. Move to VRF-based random selection from the staked pool, weighted by stake, not by speed. This keeps agents fully welcome (you can't and shouldn't ban them) while killing the incentive to build a faster bot instead of a smarter one. Fast infra should never outrank honest capital in a jury system — that's the line that keeps "agents welcome" from quietly becoming "agents dominate."

On ResolveX, a disputer doesn't just click a button. They name a specific counter-outcome — the exact alternative they believe is correct — and stake a bond equal to the case bond to back that claim. No vague objection. No "I disagree." A real position, with real money behind it.
That single move does two things at once: it forces every dispute to be a genuine claim, not noise, and it collapses the market into exactly two valid outcomes — the original proposal vs. the disputer's counter-claim — which is also what makes jury ties mathematically impossible.

💀 Lose — the jury sides against you → your bond is forfeited to treasury
🔁 No quorum — if the jury panel never fills before the voting deadline → your bond is fully refunded, no penalty
Real example: dispute a $100 case, win, and you walk away with $200. Dispute it and lose, and that $100 is gone. This isn't a free-for-all — it's a conviction market. You only step in when you're actually confident you're right.
