@farmerfox_1 @Loytra123 @EuanRitchie1 Yep. My expectations were low and yet the ALP government has exceeded them. We need an increase in the number of progressive Independents and Greens to " keep the bastards honest".
@HossaiGul @AIHI_MQ@Macquarie_Uni@adamgdunn@markfrommacq I rarely visit this sm platform nowadays so have only just seen your lovely shout out @HossaiGul . You know, the feeling is mutual. Very grateful to have met you and I enjoyed our collaborations, so very much. You are an inspiring person. Congratulations once again, Dr. Gul 👏
@Gekko_au Huh?! That stuns me. I would understand if you had travelled to remote parts of Australia in the wet season and chose to swim in croc or Irukandji infested waters
@SharnelleVella@simo_geno I swapped from a kindle because 1. I couldn't borrow books from my library and 2. I didn't want to support Bezos' company.
I changed to Kobo and borrow ebooks from my library regularly. Very happy with my choice.

@2three2@CBadcock@samanthamaiden@JoshButler It's appalling yet sadly, unsurprising that there are no consequences for the egregious behaviour of politicians. Even worse when they then boast about this very lack of consequences.

Great article by @myriamrobin exposing the Pharmacy Guild's tactics in arguing against extended prescribing. If pharmacies are only sustainable because consumers are forced to make unnecessary trips to get their meds it's time to change the funding model. https://t.co/WZM3Yp8njg

@jjjove@jonkudelka Same here. It was a bit of a culture shock and a massive change, as an almost 18 y.o., coming from a country town. Majored in printmaking and loved it ... would do it again in a heartbeat
@TonyHWindsor Since it was reported how PWC profited from breaching a confidentiality agreement, l've wondered why charges weren't laid?
If there's no penalty for breaching confidentiality agreements with the Commonwealth, why bother having them?
Former Deputy Federal Liberal leader and former Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, Fred Chaney, says Peter Dutton's decision to oppose the Indigenous Voice to Parliament is sad and pathetic. #auspol https://t.co/Fl1Z2p1UGv
A few personal notes:
I was just at a NASA team meeting for 3 days in DC. The scientific findings are so fucked up. Experts on tropical rainforests told me privately that they think the Amazon has already passed its tipping point. Let that sink in. The world needs to know
